If you don't want to communicate with your opponent. Just play Master Duel. Follow the Yellow light, no miss communication or something, just follow the system.
@@TheRamblemanWhoSings well, the difference is if you miss timing you simply dont get to do it. rather than fucking it up and then having your opponent scream CHEATING!!!! and stop the duel lol
In Masterduel, if I ever think that someone is taking a long time to make their move, I will just remember this and say "Hey, at least my opponent isn't taking an hour to do absolutely nothing"
The classic "My opponent cheated (but actually misplayed) so I will refuse to talk to them and wait AN HOUR for a judge". You don't have an easy job...
The first judge call where those two guys waited an hour for a judge is a great example on why i refuse to play on DB. Youd never have to deal with that shit on an auto sim like ygopro or omega
"I don't understand why players do this". Sharking, that's why. They want you to come in and give a GL to their opponent, even though everyone in the situation knows it's not cheating. It's just worth the gamble that they get a judge which will fall for it and ban their opponent. "My opponent cheats and I get punished". And there we have them gaslighting. Another standard sharker tactic.
I feel for the guy that waited for a hour for a judge , sometimes waiting an hour is a 10x times easier than dealing with some of the hard headed people in the ygo community
That's understandable if he had at least tried to talk to the other guy, but it looks like he just called for a judge and sat there calling his opponent a cheater for no reason
I've played with Teus Felipe before months ago and he got his account frozen back then too. This is just a small variation of it. I tried to activate The First Darklord in Standby Phase when he can only activate during the main phase. I apologized and let him proceed to his main phase. But he refused to and accused me for being a cheater then called judge. Refused to communicate with me and throughout the whole duel refuse to let me resolve chain links. Judge had to come back to the duel 3 times before he got his account frozen. Originally thought he was trolling but now I believe he actually believes he is in the right for his behavior.
isn't the policy to get a judge for this kind of thing to make sure a player isn't maliciously trying to do invalid responses and etc so if they do happen to do this thing often people will know if they are because the judges will more or less end up knowing them, however what happened here is clearly a mistake
6:20 I just want to point out that Master Duel also asks that, assuming your chain is set to "on." I'm not sure if Edopro allows the turn player to do anything before asking the opponent that or not, but ultimately you are able to start a chain immediately after a card is drawn for turn. It could very well be based on a different point in the game state though. I do it quite often to shotgun certain cards in the draw phase.
The problem is most people don't know what priority is. When most people especially TCG players hear priority, they think to the time where Konami fucked up royally with ignition effects. For Instance Breaker. Breaker summoned, Torrential chained, Breaker pop effect. That's what priority was for a lot of people, because that used to be a thing. Now it is not a thing, because someone at Konami figured out it doesn't work like that. But turn player priority has always been a thing. If two players have a card that can activate in the same window, the turn player has the option to always activate first. For instance both players have solemn warning set. Turn player summons Breaker, the turn player has the option for whatever reason to activate solemn warning first. Bad example but that's how it work. For draw phase the act of drawing does not start a chain, however cards may be played during Draw Phase. Say Turn player has MST in hand and there is a spell or trap on the field. The turn player has priority in this situation to activate MST before the non turn player can do anything. But because of misunderstanding and automated dueling, most people do not understand the rules and assume that drawing a card is what initiates the ability for a chain to start. But the actual answer is that they just happen to have a card that can activate during the draw phase and the opponent doesn't which is why it asks you immediately. I have also realized that sometimes Master Duel messes up, as there have been a lot of instances where i have a certain thing I want to do but my opponent activates a card before me which 99% of the time is irrelevant, but still annoying. Say your opponent has warning set. You summon breaker with MST in hand. Warning can and will activate first that's just basic timing. But say your opponent has bottomless set. MST should technically be able to activate first. Warning negates the activation, bottomless destroys on summon. MST has no specific timing and can be activated whenever. In this specific scenario, bottomless can be chained to MST to destroy the summoned monster, but MST has priority to activate first because it is the turn players priority to activate a card first. Master duel will sometimes not allow the turn player to activate a card first which again 99% is irrelevant, but that one percent of time is the difference in chain blocking an ash with another monster which can and is the difference between winning and losing.
Hey, I'm not sure if you will read this coder but I really enjoyed this style of editing and content. A more "chill" editing makes it feel like a fun video rather that a meme video. Would like to see more of this style a little bit more often. Cheers
I love how the best part of this video isn't even the judge called its titled after. It's Kevin's story about him dumping and clogging his old GFs toilet right off the bat. Way to establish dominance, Kevin lmao
Some toilets have pipes so small that doing it single time in them clogs them instantly :/ But oh,well i never had GF so i cant relate :) Ps, saying "cheat" to a missplay is bad,i could say "cheat" if someone special summons for half a year in MD but his starter hand was 4 handtraps and 1 card they normal summoned[and i experience that like several duels in a row so i get tilted],but to a missplay? Weirdge
This happens due to most players being like "you're no judge so you can't say I've made a mistake", and then the judge comes and explains the mistake, so the player says the judge is wrong and then appeal
DistantCoder: I know chain in wrong order was a bit confusing to me, because you could not properly proof that the player in red was maliciously cheating by doing on purpose to do a wrong chain to maliciously cheat, the player in blue was obiviously maliciously rules sharking, just because you could not proof that the player in red was maliciously cheating, player in blue really believe that player in red was maliciously cheating, so the reason for his silence was he did not want to risk arguing about the order of the chain for over an hours, If he did attempt to talk to player in red, he could have goten the proof that player in red was maliciously cheating, and then player in blue would not have goten frozen for malicious AFK combined with malicious rule sharking
@DistantCoder: the situation of the draw phase, the opponent thought that the player in blue skip the opponent response to the player in blue as drawn a card, player in blue did not properly communicated that he is playing 'tip' in response to his own drawn a card because he as priority to do so, and because of the miss communication player in red thought he was playing tip after the timing of drawing a card during the Draw phase so player in blue does maliciously skipping the priority of player in red to respond to the player in blue as drawn a card. Player in red also did not properly communicate to his opponent.
That's because you don't respond to the Draw that happens in the Draw Phase. Turn player draws the card (NOT starting a chain or prompting a response opportunity from the opponent), and then the turn player has an opportunity to use a quick effect. If they decline to activate a quick effect, it passes priority during the Draw Phase to the opponent allowing them activate quick effects. Coder said that he's pretty sure people make this mistake because, in YgoPro, it incorrectly gives a prompt to the opponent to be able to respond to the turn player drawing a card at the start of the turn WITHOUT the turn player being given a window to use their quick effects first.
Ngl there is something absolutely alpha about unironically paying duelingbook just so you are able to have a profile pic that says I Special Summon Deez Nuts

Why did the first dude keep suggesting that a misplay counted as cheating they are called a misplay because you either played the wrong card in your hand/field or you activated a card in the wrong order. Neither of those are considered cheating
Quick question, did coder rule that right with equipped blackbeard? You can use a plunder patroll from the equipped ones for goldenhair (needing a monster card) meaning they are not only treated as equip spells but also monster cards. So someone give me a take please :) happy to listen.
Goldenhair specifies a "Monster Card", written with capital letters, that means that it's looking for a monster as it is defined during deck building which counts monsters in any state as long as they're originally monsters. On the other hand Inspector Boarder scans for monsters with different card types, written in lowercase, it looks at monsters as defined by the game state, in which case Blackbeard isn't one, the game state says it's an equip spell.
What was the issue with the cl1 swap cl2 trap cl3 map? Is it that the map would need to be cl1 on the summon rather than waiting for the effect of swap to be activated?
