This band has never been afraid of admitting its debt to Dio, and this is the most Dio-esque number uploaded so far. That's no bad thing, it's a great number! It's well-produced and you can hear the whole band on it in a well-balanced mix, though I would have been tempted to up the give the bass a little more to do. The lead guitar break is excellent. Four stars, thumbs up and added to The Rock Box playlist.

Young people need to see and hear their peers making real music, playing real instruments, no computers or backing tracks and using real vocals instead of auto tune!! Fantastic hard hitting retro rock 'n roll delivered with a modern attitude. And what a brilliant pace. What ever it is with Liliac, I can't put my finger on, but I can't and anything to criticize. That cant be a bad thing. I was a rock critic for our local news paper in the '80's when metal was really finding it's way. And often found little thing that could be improved with the giants like Sabbath, Purple, Led Zep, Quo and others. I guess you've got the formula spot on.

It sounds like someone has been listening to Priest! This one sits nicely alongside songs like Painkiller and Night Crawler - with a Dio twist to the melodies.

Maybe it's because I'm a bit older (43) and have been around loud equipment all my life, but I think the vocals could be just a bit clearer/louder. Just my humble opinion....still 1 of my favorite bands.
What are you listening on? I have Boston Acoustics speakers with Sub hooked up to my computer. Sounds great to me. For me certain songs are better when the vocals are another instrument, and certain songs require the lyrics in the foreground.
