Harry's high notes are beautiful too, you are saying this about the person who did crazy high notes in " Drag me down" "infinity" 'SIgn of the times' And shown his versatility in songs like "home" he literally sang all the choruses and all the main bits in 1D. Zayn too do not have vocal ability or range to do exact replica of Harry's parts either. That's why they were 5. Still you should listen to Harry when he sang Zayn's part in "ready to run" and "strong" he is the only one who can reach that range, apart from Liam. He takes up his Zayn's part and make it his own, and some people prefer that over Zayn, just a matter of taste. I like strong high notes, which Harry hits with his full deep husky voice, way more then sweet high notes of Zayn as in falsettos, so it's just the matter of taste.

Harry pretty much quit interacting with every one in the band after Zayn left. He was done, he was gone long before they even announced the hiatus.

Harry did in strong and ready to run on Zayn's part when he left, and nailed it, while Liam did his falsettos. Without Harry the songs were nothing, but without Zayn they survived and were able to give one of their best album, imagine if Harry left. Can you imagine Zayn's doing that drag me down high note, coz he can't, one need a powerful manly sound to do that.
