- Well, it did take me a few tries, but I finally did manage to complete the Very Hard Tower without losing a match or round. Sadly, was 93 points away from being number 1 on the leaderboards. But hey, I was actually surprised given how annoying Corrupted Shinnok is. I'll try this out with Jason next and I'll probably be getting some stuff up with Tanya as soon as she's out. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

As long as you do 20-30%, you are pretty much ready to online, but you need to plan your punishes and dodges, with Erron even more, he is kind of punishable if you dont know his weaknesses, unlike Mileena where you can mostly mess up but still damage

Just finished the first fight and I have to say, I like his fighting style. Very practical, without getting into the high-flying kung fu crap that people assume somehow makes you godlike. Plus he does the smart thing and brings guns to a fistfight.

Harty Kun That doesn't really matter. What matters is that computers and people play completely different. Any schmuck with two thumbs can beat a very hard AI with patience. It takes a real player to use strategy and mix ups more efficiently to outsmart another professional player.

SynergyxVeNN When I was a 7 year old, I really wanted to be a cowboy. I got a hat, got cowboy boots, and even a set of little spurs. I had a red ryder lever action BB gun. Then Grandpa tried to polish my boots for me, and used the wrong shoe product. The boots looked like they were caked in mud after that, and I never wore them again. I hid them away in the garage, near all the powertools grandpa let me play with. I don't know exactly what happened to the boots; they were lost while moving. The hat and the BB gun are lost as well. But I still have the spurs hanging in my old room at my dad's house; the last memento of my days as a 7 year old cowboy. Dad used to make fun of my spurs, but even now I don't regret walking down the street dressed as a cowboy. Nor do I regret shooting soda cans in the backyard while dressed in my cowboy getup.

Noob No, it's all pretty much true. Even the part where I used to play with power tools. I liked the grinder and electric drill. But I also liked low tech tools like the hatchet, and the hammer and nails. The weird thing was that my worst injury came from a tape measure; it's like a paper cut on 'roids. There was a decent amount of blood.

Micah Blue I don't know why americans think that cowboys are so cool, Erron Black is the replacement of Stryker in terms of boring and all the americans youtubers that I watch speak like he is so badass. His looks are not interesting, his fighting style is only cool when he's using that tarkatan blade (wich is the only non-outlaw feature of him). I'm not saying that I don't like the idea of him, but I think he was poorly done. His story is interesting but kinda out of place - he's basically and outlaw that went to outworld like kano, but he came from a different time. At least kano have technological stuff. He could look something between outworld and like a post apocalipse kind of looks, like he has lost that identity of what he was a long ago, because of the past of time and because he lost touch with earthrealm's culture.

Zerion The Shadowhog but Stryker also seems like a better hand-to-hand fighter, so he could potentially win up close and personal.
I. Th. And yet with all his crazy weapons and decades of mercenary work, he's still (to my knowledge at least) never beaten any massively powerful character in canon. Whereas Stryker, armed with more rudimentary weapons like tasers, batons, pistols, and a flashlight, was able to defeat Kintaro, Ermac, and likely Sektor to name a few. Black is arguably a better gunman and may have some melee ability, but Stryker's training and utilization of his weapons clearly make him a better fighter.
It's time for death battle..!! :v
Judging by their win-loss record, Stryker would annihilate Erron. He casually defeated Reptile, Mileena, Kintaro and Ermac in consecutive fights without any rest in what seems like around 15 minutes total. Meanwhile, Erron lost every fight he was in, including off screen fights.
Stryker is the strongest character in MK who doesn't use powers or tech.
I cannot wait for the story mode man. You kill it

I think he's only doing one variation per character. Doing all three variations for all the characters sounds like a lot, even for Vman.
Jacob Williams What I wish NRS did when making MKX is to allow the player to switch between variations for each match in a ladder.
He said in a comment it would maybe be too repetitive to watch, if he did all the variations for the same character. Probably also why he started making combo videos.
The power and the skin for the combo of MK9, X and Injustice are amazing.

Awesome! Back in the day, I was able to do this on Street Fighter II Turbo for the SNES on the toughest difficulty and on the fastest speed setting and without losing a round with Ken and Guile. I went almost 20 years without playing a fighting game until MK9 came out a few years ago! Man how fighting games have changed! Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat were so much simpler back then! MKX is fucking awesome though!

Here's something they should've done whenever you selected Very Hard for ladder mode: Have a Shao Kahn-like voice say "You will never win!" like when you select Master difficulty in certain versions of MK3.
I usually improvise with a Shao Kahn soundboard, but it'd still be awesome to have it in-game.
