When bassist John Taylor bowed out of Duran Duran in 1997, guitarist Warren Cuccurullo brought Wes Wehmiller on board. Wehmiller toured and performed on television with the band until 2001, when Taylor reunited with the band. Afterwards he worked with Warren Cuccurullo, Missing Persons, and several other Los Angeles bands.
DD in their element.... this is how they often sound live!! A guitar heavy edge with epic bass lines and goth keyboards. Who could want more!!! Best band in the world.
I feel ashamed, I've been a Duran fan for 40 years and only just heard this amazing track. As others have said, it would be great for them to do a more rocky/ guitar album I really believe they would pull it off and be successful with it.
Unpopular opinion,if they kept Warren and continued this alt rock sound...they could have made better albums,i think Medazzaland is as good as their huge 4 first albums, after pop trash they are washed... astronaut had ok moments...but they need a good guitarist/songwriter
That is ridiculous . They did not separate from Warren cause Simon did not get along with him. That is stupid gossip. They wanted to reunite the original 5. Simple as that. Warren should still be in the band . To me they make the most interesting albums with him . I miss his guitar
This needs to be on Spotify stat.
Should’ve been on the album!

Wes Wehmiller who played bass in this track, he died at a young age unfortunately, at the age of 33, after a long battle with thyroid cancer R.i.p.
Ok, don't want be insensitive, but:
Everything dies on this track
always said, this band needs to put out a hard rock album.
True!
REPORTAGE! Their Unreleased Hard Rock Album
@@ElectronicCrickett I heard that also... apparently it was very "funky", moreso than Notorious with a few tracks with a bit of a Reggae feel.
Or PunkRock album :)
Yes yes yes
You can literally hear the "eighties songs only" Duranies heads exploding after listening to this 🤯😁 LOVE the Medazzaland era! 💎

Simon couldn't work with Warren anymore. That's why the reunion happened.
