If you haven’t seen it here is the video of Geronimo’s cave on the other side of… I went to GERONIMO's cave : It was SCARY ua-cam.com/video/Y-j2FNqynlY/v-deo.html thanks everyone !!😊😊
Hey Brett! Thank you so much for the shout out and the kind words, we deeply appreciate that! It’s taken us a little bit to catch back up on your videos since we have been out chasing whitetail bucks the last couple of weeks. We had some really nice comments come in from people who follow along with you. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, maybe one of these days we can all meet up and go out for a ride on our longears.
We gave up T.V. too. Utube and amazon prime is all you need. Enjoy watching you and Bonnie's adventures. You called her Agnes in the beginning. You must have loved that ole mule!
Good ole dog Booker- mine, passed away last month. Your Booger, somewhat the same, must be a little easier when you've got a pack like that. "Yellow Dog" was around over 12 1/2 years. And we hiked around everywhere. It's so rough that country- amazing that panthers range around there. Tough- that one looked beat, that monster in the other vid, huge head- missing ear. Scary 😆! My nephew had ADD, he was around Scottsdale area. Need to get down to Arizona like during early thru late winter and even summer as the old Naturalist Joseph Wood Krutch said- the time to see it when all the critters are active in the desert. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Wood_Krutch Landmark date today- the last time I was in New Mexico was Thanksgiving 1974, 50 years ago, visiting my little brother at NMMI in Roswell with the folks. Shirt- that's too long.
I worked in Wyoming 50 yrs ago packing mules. By boss would recite that poem around the camp fire at night. I'll always remember that. Robert Service was the Charlie Russell of poetry
You might also like Desert Drifter. He goes out there looking for ancient paleo Indian sites but he is also very respectful and doesn’t disrespect or disturb what he finds.
Really enjoyed this video Brett .. I stopped watching regular TV also several years ago and don't miss it whatsoever ! I'm almost 64 and have always considered myself as the one that doesn't fit in etc. Thanks again for your entertaining videos ..
Thanks for taking me along Brett. That cave was pretty cool! What a view from up there. Sitting here thinking about all the people who have sat right where you were sitting, or shared a fire in there. We live in a remarkable nation. Thanks Pal!
Senior Brett, first of all, smoking cigars is NOT considered smoke. So, go ahead and light some good stogies. Two, that beautiful lady daughter of yours...Is she single? Just askin'. Third, do you think that Victorio and/or Geronimo caves would be any good in case things go to sh*t and we have to bug out? Fourth, leave the kitties alone! The music is awesome! Thank you for the awesome video
We turned off the TV in 1998 when we lived in a place with three broadcast channels and a cable bill as much as a mortgage. We thought that paying someone to bring us 130 channels of commercials was a pretty stupid idea. So, off it went. Just at that time between BBS and a budding internet, we had media and news if we needed it. But reading, you know. Words on paper were a better option.
Luvd thisn ,you seemed to be well rested and had more gumption lol you and Bonnie!!! Such a cool cave I'm glad you made it I wanted to see it too!!! Even your voice seemed to be at ease and sharp remembering an such yep this was a good filmed video 👍🏻 I ll be stoken the fire an get my place ready for winter ,waiting on another video....Thanks Onward an upward ole friend 🤠
Appreciate your rides , great looking around through your eyes. Curiosity gets me. 13:00 shame your mules couldn’t get there Brett, I’m thinking now your there seems a shame to be leaving so soon, I’m thinking an over night or two camp to look around . Amazing country through there, rough and rugged just how I like it. I’ll be watching for your coffee, keen on a few other things too. Onwards and upwards 15:13 😃 18:00 I through the TV and radio away a few years ago. Don’t watch or listen to societies problems now in my 70s I’m sure they’ll sort themselves out one day. That’s why I watch your channel Brett , very appealing to me. 🇦🇺👍🇺🇸 19:29 Mountain Built Mules yup sub to the other too thanks Brett …yup a good day
Glad to see you and Bonnie are getting used to each other. Nice day out. Kind of funny to see a guy sitting on a rock in the middle of nowhere…and talking about UA-cam!😂
As always you make interesting videos I enjoy when you get out there I feel like I'm riding with you much too old to do it myself but I'm glad you do and I very much enjoy going with you watching your videos
A few of Robert Service's poems will put your life in perspective. Hank Snow does it justice. Well, it's been a while since I watched Ulzana's Raid, and your trip today has me longing for it. I am listening to The Ballad Of Blasphemous Bill, and oh, how I appreciate the internet, running hot water, and central heating!!
When you mentioned "The Road of the North" the bells went of in my head. In Alberta Canada, there is Highway 2 that runs through the province (mostly) from North to South. In the early days it became the Calgary- Edmonton Trail and earlier the Whoop-up trail from Ft. Benton Montana. But this was already an old, old Indian trail known as "The Old North Trail". It was said that it ran the full length of the Rocky Mountains just far enough out onto the plains for easier travel. The Explorer David Thompson in the late 1700s was told by some Piegan Indians about the time when they were first learning about the horse. Some warriors set off south on foot to find horses. It was a full two years later and everyone thought they were dead, when they showed up. They has horses and mules with saddles with flower designs on the leather that Thompson thought sounded like Spanish tack. He figured that these Piegans had gone south at least as far as New Mexico and then back!! Now here you mention "The Road of the North". If you look at the I-25, follow it up and cut across Montana to Sweetgrass and cross into Alberta. I wonder if this is the same "Old North Trail", from the Indian Dog days before the horse?
I'm not sure .. I think this one ended in Sante Fe NM ... someday I'm going to ride out of my yard with a pack mule and travel part of this trail like they did back in the day .. Thank you
I quit network tv myself sometime back. Watch UA-cam and documentaries on line. I always enjoy your adventures and appreciate the effort you put into it for us. I too have been following dry creek wrangler school and Mtn built for a while now. They both have good content. Another one is Ty Lee. I believe he’s in your area of the world. Thanks again for being real and sharing with us. I look forward to your videos every week.
Hi Brett, nice vist to the cave. Nice to see the dogs washed your ears and face on top😂. Nice spot to have a coffee on the way back. Thanks for sharing your story on the lion👍. Hope you have a great week my man. Take care. 🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪

Brett, your living life right. I'm on standby every week, waiting for the next vid of yours to drop. Thank you for doing what you do.Man that my friend is a ton of work shooting that footage, and for that I thank u, awesome job. Keep living right.
Great cave! I had the satellite TV turned off in 2008. I had free satellite for about 2 years. I watched NASA the most, space station was interesting. Tried the antenna for a while (analog) and played Nintendo a lot. Since my wife left I guit a lot of watching. She left 9 years ago.
My first day of 14 days off and I’m catching up on your videos, you have a lot go in you mate, keep it coming and sharing your adventures, the country you travel keeps this Australian in amazement it’s beautiful and rugged.

Hello from Idaho...Good Day, I enjoyed your video. Nice short ride and peeking into the cave. As a kid I remmeber my Dad always having a cigar sticking in his mouth. With him he would fire it up the first time then when it then went out he would just chew it the rest of the way. ( My Mother hated it. ) Anyway you reminded me of that. Hey, I looked 'Dry Creek Wrangler School' up and gave it a look, Iv'e added it to my watch list. Thanks

Great ride Brett sure like those old Indian history lessons very interesting for this old Aussie. You do well poking around those places on foot also helps to work off those old cigars I see Bonnie was stepping out ok heading home.😊
Nice Ride. That cave would keep you nice and dry in a rainstorm and warm at night but. You can see it for miles. So a fire would need to be in the back around a corner to not give you away. What a View. Had a water supply close n home sweet home. After you chased the rattlers away.
Thank You for sharing your adventures of the dessert region where you live... I don't know if you live in New Mexico or Arizona... It would be interesting to me to know...
Great video, adventure, and stories. I haven’t given up cable yet, but I really should. I watch UA-cam videos on my iPad, while tv (Hallmark Channel w/xmas movies) on for background noise…I can stream something for background noise and save myself a big chunk of $. That cave was so cool to see…..oh, the stories those hills could tell, if they could speak. You did the right thing with the lion….I feel so bad for the lady. But thankful her son will be safe.
Brett, this video may be an all time favorite for me. Rough and beautiful country seen thru your eyes and commentary was awesome. Great stories told to us so casually like we were there with you drinking coffee. Amazing talent you have my friend. Thank you for doing what you do. Onward and Upward.

👵I can c now why I pray 4 u. . . Thought maybe u would hook up w/a cougar up there but glad u didn't cuz I don't c a side arm. But on the other hand who needs a side arm if u have Jesus. . . It's nice when the weather doesn't cooperate 2 go w/u out in the sticks and explore. Sad about the Lady and dog incident - we have those cats in our neck of the woods. I carry cuz I walk 2 miles in the morning b-4 breakfast, its on my new health regimen. . . Prayers 🤗🙏
Another great ride with a side dish of story/history lesson. Love seeing the cave. Very interesting place. Keep Miss Bonnie cinched and the camera rolling!

A deer hunter up above the ranch headquarters walked in asking for a ride into Wilcox to buy a cat license for the young cat he just shot . So on our way he tells me this cougar was stalking our cattle so he put a shot righf in front if it to scars it off . The damn cat spotted him and started coming at him . He had to down it to stop if . A skinny dead cat and a happy deer hunter . We enjoyed the hunters on our Dragon Mt cattle ranch ' they were good help . Thanks for the video and the memories.
Yes, I follow dry Creek Wrangler. His podcast are pretty good. Do you need a special license to hunt lion or mountain lion here in California the restrict about their mountain lions, specially around the LA area
