Unbelievable value for money in my opinion. I lived in London and me and 2 friends shared an apartment 45 minutes from the city centre. It was £1500 pcm (almost 3000 AUD), and completely dead end with no attractions nearby. It was also tiny with no room to move. In short, I’m so excited to move here in a couple of years❤
this is because of covid pricing, currently they are going for 850-950 a week.
As an Australian it is unbelievable, there’s no way that this apartment is $500 a week, more like $1500-$2000 a week. The cost of living here is no joke.
Edit: I’m assuming the cost is $2000 for ONE person in one bedroom, the total cost of this apartment would be $4000 per month.
Lovely tour and a great energy from you and seeing the cameraman laughing along is cool too! Thank you guys, insightful for me who's planning to move there in the coming months!
We’re moving to Australia next year and have started researching properties, pricing seems to have increased but is still reasonable compared to many UK cities.
I live in Edinburgh and 2 bed apartments are roughly 3000 AUD per month but can easily go beyond 4000 for something nice.
For reference, professionals earn a lot less here. For most young people, even on a decent salary, your monthly take home will be about 4500 AUD per person, so rent will be at least 30% of your take home salary.
Respectively, it looks to us that for the same jobs we do here, our salaries will roughly double whilst the rent in Melbourne is roughly the same so will probably represent less than 20% of our take home salaries. Interesting video, thanks.
What profession are you that make you think your salary will be double ($9000AUD) in Melbourne?
This is actually incredible value for money ! The amenities, along with concierge AND being a two bedroom , two bathroom WITH PARKING property make this quite hard to fathom , in quality for money. So happy for you ! It was a smart choice in rental. Wishing you all the best for you trip to Japan and your time there.
Your appreciation is great to watch ! ✨
So excited for the Japan vlogs again!! Did you get another teaching job?
The apartment is AWWWESOME
Do another tour when you've arrived! xD :D
This is such helpful information. Where did you rent the washing machine from?
Looks amazing!
Hi, would you be willing to say where or which building this is? Me and a mate are looking for an affordable place and this place seems absolutely perfect
i love this apartment!!
What a view. Have a good time in Japan btw!!
Thank you! One day I’ll have a view like this in Tokyo 😭🙏🏻
Hi I hope you can answer my query here, I see that this is a 2-bedroom apartment, when you mentioned AUD480/week is that fee per person or for the whole 2-bedroom apartment (equals for 2 people)? Thanks 😊
Looking at how the market is it's per person 😅😂
what is the rent of 1bedroom furnished apartment in melbourne cbd?
Does it comes with a parking lot?
What a beautiful view 😍
Still can’t believe that was my view 😭

Such a beautiful full of life, moving to Australia in few months from now, how we can arrange to see each other ?
Hi may i know which apartment name is this?
im moving to Melbourne this November. Im scared of spiders what do i do? Also what will the weather be like in November?
I have the same concern god!
Have you planned what would you do about it? (The spiders)
As a fellow Melbournian let me reassure you that it's really unlikely that you'll run into the extremely poisonous ones in the city (redbacks/funnel webs). There's every chance that you won't see any spiders for months at a time.
In my opinion, the most intimidating one is the Huntsman, because it is very large. I personally just cover them with a large transparent jar or something, then slide something rigid underneath and flip it over and to seal them inside. Or you can attempt to crush them immediately, but an unsuccessful attack is obviously going to make them react by running and hiding from you, which is even more unsettling.
If you have a daddy longlegs - think of this one as a buddy. It's not dangerous to humans, but very dangerous to all other spiders. So if you keep one around in a place you don't care about, they can keep the more intimidating ones away.
Anyway, just keep in mind that it's super unlikely that you run into them, especially in the city, and if you do, don't be afraid of being poisoned, be afraid of snakes instead... You won't see snakes, except on bushwalks... Or anywhere in Queensland or the country... Try not to think about it... And don't leave your shoes outside... But if you do, check them for spiders... Okay... I'm not sure if I'm helping.
Also, starting from November it begins to be pretty warm, 20's and upward, but Melbourne is known for it's wide ranging weather patterns, so sweaters are your best friend and on any given day you should be prepared for somewhere between 10-30 degrees celcius because Melbourne is crazy, weather apps are your best friend.
@Salma riz haha, yeah in regional areas you might experience it a little more. Spiders have a big ick factor, but they aren’t our predators. Unless you’re a fly their intention is to run away.
I have left Melbourne for some time, but my impression is that there is always more apartments available than houses, if living centrally is a possible option for you, you might consider it :)
seeing these residential monoliths towering over you when you're out in the cold feels absolutely dystopian. no surprise the interior is so sterile and clinical.
Hi! I really loved your video. I'm moving to Melbourne in July and wanted to ask you what is the name of your building?
Why would she post that online you idiot
Did you know ?
Why are you moving?
You have an Aussie accent so you've been there for a long time, right?
WHAAAAAAT?!?!? Have I been completely ripped off? My apartment is about $1700 per month and it's tiny AF.
What’s the bldg name please
whats the apartment name?
So jealous. 😒 this would easily START at 4000 USD in New York and still be sold out in seconds. You’re so lucky 😭
Yeah this price is not accurate. It would be $2000 for one person in one bedroom. It’s split share, $4000 per month. Even that in Melbourne with a view is unbelievable. This should be $1500-$2000 per week, at least it would be in Sydney
Nice dress!
I'm actually looking for a new apartment in melb lol
omg.. and this makes me realise how much prices have raised in an year in Melbourne.. you get close to nothing now in that price in that area...!!
fucking hell, try getting something like that in Sydney
Crazy apartment, wow!
Did you encounter spiders over there?
hahahahahaha that is a very intresting question 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Spiders aren't very common in the big cities.
Will we a lot of Japan vlogs when you get?
Hell yes 🙌🏻
2k a month, thats cheap af. I thought it said 2k a week. Edit: ok after seeing the vid, can see why its that cheap. This video got recommended for me typing australia 108. So had my hopes up.
In india just 300dollar 4 bhk a month
How much is ti….?(ult)
Wowww amazing 💞. How can you afford this? Do your parents help you or do you earn so much through office work? 🙂
Glad you enjoy! I was working as a pharmacist and had a house mate as well!
@@STEFATTY I just came across this video. So you left your job of a pharmacist for a better paying role back home? I am curious because I just passed KAPS and I am about to get started.
2k is a very good price for a view like that.
2 grand a month... Is unbelievably cheap for Melbourne.
You must watch fukishima 50 trailer only, might find what you are looking f
people rave on about views but what are u actually looking at? plain looking buildings
There are much better views to be had in Melbourne, but this is a modern apartment and fairly large for the price (so not in a top location in Melbourne, where the buildings are older and more expensive to rent)
she overlooks a prison
Gia thue khoang do.
dude wtf i get a fucking rotting studio in sydney for that price
I almost spilled my drink when she said " It's a little bit small, but it does the job ". And yes, I really need to get my mind out of the gutter.
To high
r u fking wengi
i loved the video
Who’s the lucky guy
Ridiculous price but if u can afford it more power to ya
2k is not bad for that.
May I know the apartment name and it's location as I am also moving to melbourne next year
