Absolutely love what this group is up to. I aspire to do the same in my little world. The history and the visual "passage of time" as spoken is what fuels my passion for these machines 100%. A car can be restored multiple times, but it is only original once. Thank you for sharing this video and a little glimpse into the magic workshop. Im aiming the same direction with what I touch and its nice to see others with the same focus.

I hate when restorations are overdone, I am a big fan on the original paint because it tells a story, and gives it personality.

I am the proud owner of an original 1957 Packard Clipper sedan. She has her dings and scratches but she's a survivor, and I love driving s piece of history.

All depends on what you want in the end and what you are starting with. If there are only a few examples left, preserve it. It is only original once. If it is in generally good condition, fix what needs fixing and preserve it as is. If you want it looking like new, do what you want. After all, it's your vehicle and your money. If there are thousands running around still and you are starting with a poor example, do what you want.
