I think that Fei Long accessory actually looks pretty good with Rand! I cant believe Im saying this but I really hope they ship this 2 pack early. I still have my older ML Iron Fist unopened 😅. Luke Cage looks really good, they went the extra mile with this 2 pack. I hope the reuse the Cage buck for Absorbing Man, he needs an update badly.
Had this on order from Amazon here in the UK, release got pushed back to later this month when I'd be on holiday, thankfully found the set today at my local comic shop and cancelled my order. This may be the best Marvel Legends 2-pack I've ever picked up, most of them have a clear better or more desirable figure to me but this set was perfect. Luke Cage is pretty much my mental image of the character and whilst I slightly prefer the more subdued design we saw with the last release of Danny, this figure won me over with how much more shelf presence the open collar design has. Luke Cage looks great just standing there in a more subdued pose but Iron Fist practically poses himself, they compliment each other so well.
See this is why I rock with you Manny u always on point. I have seen a couple of reviews of this 2 pack already and you are the only one to point out that the Iron Fist buck torso is different. Everybody so far has said its the same as the RYV buck and that's not true. Yeah we get it Hasbro is the worst when it comes to reuse but when they do something new its good to acknowledge that and give credit when its do. Thanks for another full in-depth and thoughtful review!!!
that Luke cage figure looks so good that im even gonna buy the White Shirt + Black Shirt versions that come out next year xD. Hell they need to reuse this body for an Eddie Brock
These two look great. Hopefully mine arrive this weekend. I love the new Cage head sculpt. The previous one pissed me off every time I saw it. For accessories Cage could have come with the Wrecker’s crowbar. Where did you get the girder he was holding in the photo? I’ll use the one Hammerhead came with. It’s definitely time for more/different Iron Fist power effects. I also want to figure out how to increase his split range.
Love this pack. Not sure about the waist on Fist (Where the open part just cuts off at the belt), but that is only thing at all (other than always wanting more accessories, of course).
The iron fist is awesome, surprised they waited this long, I prefer the v shirt as the straight lines look funky. The luke is nice but the pants suffer hasbro female/suited pants syndrome, it's a straight pipe/pencil proportion, no pinching at the knees and ankles.
I prefer the 70's Power Man look for Luke Cage, but as far as figure-wise this Luke Cage is far better. I have this pack on the way. We do need a new Jewel Jessica Jones, I'd like to see that in a 2-pack with either an updated Patsy Walker Hellcat, or an updated Purple Man, maybe a 3-pack?

Btw Luke Cage Iron Fist 2 Pack is STILL AVAILABLE on Amazon..i doubt that will be the case for 2 long.

Great review that Luke cage figure is dope. Now we need Doc Sampson and mayor Luke cage figure and 2.0 Blue marvel helmeted version figure & Coal Tiger figure.
Instead of another modern Cage figure which they've already done 3x, a classic Steel Serpent should have been the other figure in the set. Ironfist doesn't exactly have a huge gallery of villains like Spiderman , Avengers and X-Men have.
I believe that Iron-Fist has the hip joints that drop down, allowing for a greater range of motion. I don't have the figure yet, so I can't confirm it, but I think someone else said it on a video I watched.
We desperately need new a Sandman figure on this Luke Cage body. The retro one just looks underwhelming. Updated Sinister Six box set would be great too.
I appreciate the comparisons. I have every 6 inch Iron Fist, i don't like the RYV torso and wish they'd made broader chest/back/shoulders, honestly closer to how square the retro spiderman shoulders are, but Im glad the new torso has a little more meat. No splits is a huge gaff to me. But appreciate the separate skintone peices and accessories. Needs a smirk face though. I hope we get a bunch more IF figures. I need the most modern with the sneakers and the Fraction/Aja/Brubaker costume using the Shang Chi legs. No notes on Luke.

Anyone who says you're a Hasbro "yes man" or "apologist", is clearly full of crap, brother... You are neither of those things! The Luke Cage looks really good too, although I do kind of prefer his Power Man & Iron Fist look for their duo in my display... I'll have to figure out a good placement for this version of Cage... 🤔 Great review of this boxed set, now, I just hope I'll be able to get these guys before they disappear or get some kind of crazy prices on them... 🙄

Honestly Jada toys is absolutely beating hasbro in the ground with their street fighter figures. For the same price they give the same amount of parts and all of them can do the splits. I love this two pack but it’s lacking and hasbro is going way to slow with the updates to their figures that are simple and incredibly needed. I mean Jada literally has a Dhalsin figure with interchangeable bendy wire limbs. Yet hasbro can’t even make a spider man or daredevil figure that can do the splits.

Modern Luke Cage has the STUPIDEST costume ever. It's a black guy in a yellow shirt and jeans! THAT IS NOT A SUPERHERO COSTUME. I wanted the tiara and open shirt version because even though it's dated, at least it's an actual superhero costume.
This Iron Fist desperately needed to be on a waist swivel. That new torso articulation is terrible on figures like this. It destroys the sculpt entirely. Luke Cage and Iron Fist should have switched articulation here.
