  • A video about our MADE IN THE USA 54″ John Deere Rock Bucket. This bucket is designed to be like the bigger skid loader rock buckets using a 2″, 3″ or 4″ tine spacing but scaled down to work on the John Deere tractors. Many of our customers have purchased this for use as a 1025R Rock Bucket or 2025R Rock Bucket and it is compatible with most of the 1 and 2 series tractors.
This bucket is available on our website.

Anyone ever use a tighter tine spacing like 1" and use it for horse manure in paddock?

TBH it looks like you just dumped a few rocks on the ground and scooped them up. I could have done that with a regular bucket, because the rocks were on top of the soil. I wanna see how that works on hard pack loaded with rocks and small boulders. You can, and should do better to demonstrate that bucket! No disrespect, but you look like a novice with that tractor.. I'm interested in this product, but not convinced.

To be fair, Matt's demo is geared to the under-served (regarding rock buckets) small-tractor market. He said he broke up the mixed-clay surface prior to using the rock bucket. That makes sense when you're on a subcompact tractor. Digging rocks out of compacted, heavy soil would benefit from wider spacing on the tines and a bigger, heavier machine and warrants a different demo.

Doesn't seem like you've ever operated a sub compact piece of equipment. The rock bucket doesn't show scooping hard pack because it's not made for it. It's not a CAT loader or meant for industrial use. Even the standard bucket on sub compact equipment is not good at cutting through hard pack. Rock buckets for this type of equipment is made for sifting rocks out of previously excavated loose material.
