I worked in a restaurant for 12 years. I resigned working there to move out of state. I had coworkers who were High School Graduates and College Students. My coworkers didn't think that working in the restaurant was a real job. I said to my coworkers that this job is a real job because money is deducted from your paycheck to pay for benefits and taxes. My coworkers constantly talked about their social life at work. Employers don't tolerate employees who aren't productive. An apathetic attitude towards customers will be a cause for termination, including the first day. Employees get paid to care. Pediatric behaviors and attitudes exhibited by High School Grads & College Students will not be tolerated.
