I’m Jamaican (living in Texas). Our Johnny cake is smaller. Not so big, but made same way I imagine. I’m trying to convince my husband to move off mainland to USVI, until we’re ready to make that permanent TransAtlantic migration. Thanks for great content. ❤
I always like to have johnny cake and cheese at the little shop next to the Greenhouse. Is it still there? I know it was there even before the Greenhouse. I can remember getting soursop ice cream there as far back as the 70's. Also wondering if Percy's Busstop is still in operation. I hope Percy is well. What a hard worker he was. Great personality and full of jokes.😂
The Johnycake shop owned by “Janet” is still in operation. Not sure if they sell that soursop ice cream though. I’ll have to ask. I do also go there from time to time for breakfast as well. Last I heard Percy is still alive. I believe they more cater food than have walk in dinning now though.
Thanks so much for the info. Percy's was one of my old hangouts. My kids all grew up on Miss Janet's Johnny cakes and ice-cream when we would be liming in town. Love watching your videos. I get to catch up on all the sites...old and new. 🤗
I enjoyed this video. Seeing home and the changes from the last time i was there. Which was last year. Vi is so beautiful. Watching this video make me want to catch the next flight home 😂😂
My dad was an Airforce airplane engine mechanic at Westover in MA during Vietnam. We started going to the VI in 1973. I remember once in the early 1980s my dad commenting that he would never fly on what they had at the time. I don't know if you have seen pictures, but "Violent City" right in the beginning shows how poorly taken care of the planes were.
I remember flying on the DC3s way back in the day. The first conveyed them to “cargo planes” then later condemned them all together because they we constantly having issues. The last off them ran off the runway here about 10 years ago.
@@mblydenvlogs Thank you Sir for your response. I have already received admission and I’m making preparations towards it and I need your views and advice on how to prepare myself before coming. Thank you 🙏

Good morning! ❤
Buenos Dias
I got married there in 2000, on a cruise ship in the harbour. I have'nt been back since. My wife and I need to visit, and see the island properly.
Come on down! We're waiting for ya! Remember "no passport required" and you can fly on your state issued ID. A lot has changed since 2000

Very true.
Hello. Whats the most affordable company to ship a car from Miami to STT??
I’m not sure you may have to shop around. The last time I used Crowley.
Pleas Sir, I want to enroll in the University of Virgins Islands. What's your advice for me?
