Build one and run it on alcohol. My 408 big block Chevy with a 294 dur 612 lift solid flat tappet with a Ron's Fuel Flying Toilet mechanical fuel injection and an 8" converter on the powerglide was this snappy. Real quick throttle response.
@@davidkeeton6716 Compression static/dynamic make it snappy. Definitely helps having the right clock. Overlap & duration matched with the right compression head flow for the valve lift....you built yourself a motor. Its all about how much do you want....it all costs money lol.

If you know how to actually use and tune a carb than there is nothing wrong with an edelbrock, especially on a street motor. I like holly's but they both work. Most people prefer holly's because they don't take much brain power to tune.
@@user-ge2qn6gp4o glad you asked. I do know how to tune a carb. I figured if you don't smoke while trying to inspect it so closely, might be auhyt.
can you please give the specs on the camshaft. . thank you

Sounds so much better without any rotating weight on the back end. Makes even a stock motor with headers snappy on throttle response.

Would this engine fit in a 95 Silverado?
what did you do to that edelbrock carb to make it respond like that???
Cody mm It's because he has no convertor on it. The engine doesn't have to turn any kind of drive train. "free spinning"
No he means to get rid of the stumble.
called not having any fly wheel or torque convertor hanging of the motor. wont be that quick in the car.
Tune it
