Totally agree Sarah. I often don't feel like giving my skin a proper cleanse, especially at the end of a long day, but I force myself to really give my face some love. Makes a HUGE difference. Dewy, glowing, spot free skin. So worth it! xx

Your channel is about MUCH more than great SKINcare, it's also about the importance of SELFcare, Cody. And what a treasure you are because of this.
"Consciously clean" - Since finding your videos I have used my routines at night as an almost ceremonial/meditative time to take care of *ME* . I never, ever forgot a vitamin C video of yours I watched where you spoke of really LOVING YOUR SKIN, YOUR BODY AND LOVING YOURSELF. You really spent time massaging the serum in, practicing your breath, loving on yourself ... and ever since, I use my evening face washing and serum/ product application as absolute ME time.
This has really become a wonderful self-care ritual and I truly value that time for myself, to dote on myself and calm down from my day. (I work at DHS in Child Protective Services and it's hard sometimes. )
That ONE video from you has literally changed my life - no exaggeration. I feel better equipped to handle the work I do, and the process of practicing what in this video you call "conscious cleaning", has helped me realize *I am absolutely WORTH taking care of* . Thank you, Cody. ::: hug :::

Oh wow that’s some serious binging, and you’re still not tired of me? Haha you’re too kind. Treating pore size is tricky because it’s our own natural genetic make up. You can improve the overall appearance to make it less visible with exfoliants.

I agree!! I change my pillow case every night because I’m getting acne on the right side of my jaw and chin. Even though it’s categorized as ‘’hormonal acne” I know it has something to do with my hair and I try to wear headbands because I don’t wash my hair everyday more like 2-3 x’s a week! Maybe I should wash my hair more but it’s hard because it will dry my color treated hair out. 💜💜💜💜

Had to go back to the old fashioned way of guzzling it! 🤪 Thanks for your always wonderful videos! Have a great and blessed week! 😘

Hi Cody, just found you on UA-cam in the last month... Love, Love, Love your videos!! Very informative, I’ve always used some sunscreen on my face, but I am going on two months using Retin A (tretinoin) Cream. I have seen my face become brighter and healthier. I am slowly seeing signs of my spots getting lighter. I’m sure it will take time. My question is, I have been using oil in the evening to remove my mineral tinted sunscreen. I find my cleanser doesn’t do a good job of removing it. What do you recommend I use to remove my tinted sunscreen. I feel the oil is preventing my skin of absorbing my product to its best potential. Your great Cody. Thanks.

They do seem to be aggressive for some, those who love it, I say stick with what they love but I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary. There are also cleansers like Foreo as another option. I’m old school with my hands
