Every single one of these projects are AMAZING! I made a banner out of the witches hats last year and lettered on hocus-pocus. It turned out fantastic! Now I'm going to make the book page banner. I loved that. I think I'll goyin with the Waverly wax and maybe distress the book pages though. I don't know yet. I bought so much stuff for Halloween last year at the Dollar Tree I bet to already have everything I need to do all of these. I soooo EXCITED! 👻🎃🦇
I watch a lot of these videos, and I'm impressed by your creations, because you take everything up a notch with just a few, easy extra steps. For example, I've seen a lot of the "potion" bottle designs, but the way you sanded and distressed the bottles as well as the labels made them So much better. Even with the 1000s of similar DIY videos, your ideas are really innovative and that makes you stand out. You even gave me ideas as to how I would do a few extra touches of my own, and I think that is one of the best things about DIY videos, the better creators inspire us to to create our own ideas and variations. Well done, I can't wait to explore the rest of your channel! 🎃

I've been watching Halloween diys since around 2013 and last year I had so much going on, I wasn't able to give as much attention to Halloween as I would have liked so I missed a lot of videos and decorating. 😭 These are some great projects, especially the hat and brooms garland. Also, I think it's supposed to be "pricking" of my thumbs.
When bending more delicate plastic pieces such as the skeleton, try using a heat tool or a warm blow dryer to make the item a bit more pliable. Then bend where you need (I like the plier idea) and allow the little guy to cool while still holding it in position. The piece should be solidly molded to the shape you desire with no “spring-back). Love love love your videos!

The broom & hat garland is so cute! I bought a pack of the cat cutouts, painted them all black and wrote the names of our 5 black cats on them. Just have to hang them up. I also liked your skeleton crafs.

I've only been trying to do "DIY'S" for the last 4 months so all my supplies are new. I'm just having a hard time finding white chalk paint. But I did find ivory white so that should work right? Our 5 yr old wants to decorate for Halloween this year and it's my first time. What's really sad is I'm a mom of a 29 and 27 yr old too lol yeah we were 45 when our youngest was born lol. Thanks for this video, it's a great place to start!!!
Mary, everyone starts somewhere. My first tip is to use what you have and don't feel like you need exactly what you see me or other people using. You will save yourself a lot of time, stress, and money doing this. Walmart has been pretty low on their paints since covid started. Hobby Lobby has a better selection if you are needing a couple of colors to fill in the gaps. Ivory white sounds like a great color. I love that your 5 year old wants to decorate for Halloween. It sounds like he/she will keep you young for quite a while. 💕

OH I'm so making the Beware sign and I just made a mat as well, mine says "Hope you brought the BOOS!" and a little ghost!
I made both mantle garlands last year and will use them again this year.
