They say there’s no murder easier to get away with than that of an addict. So easy to make it appear as an overdose or suicide.

You are so so right. One of my very best friends was killed- murderered rather. They claimed it as overdose. They have done nothing to this day to the two murders. It makes me so sad and so angry at the same time. I knew him all of my life and was such a wonderful person. He just had a crack problem and tried to get help so many times. He was one of those that just couldn't do it. I am a recovering addict and I do believe he tried. We never used together. I was clean the whole time he used. He got behind on money he owed to the dealer. Then one day I got a phone call. He was gone. I'll never forget him nor will I ever forget that day. He was like an older brother to me. Always tried protecting me and I wish I could have protected him but I know I couldn't have. It was too high risk of me relapsing to get involved at all. He was one of my very dearest friends.

In the 80s & early 90’s They had wonderful steaks in the restaurant up stairs an coffee shop had great large shrimp cocktails for cheap! I worked there in the casino in the early 90’s for 3 yrs, an made great money, an when the world wide poker tournaments were there, I made bank the 3 yrs in a row I was serving cocktails to the poker players, $100 tips for 1 drink left and right, certain poker players only would order from only certain cocktail servers, walking out with 1k plus a day during those poker tournaments, those were the good ole days also! When Ted would walk thru, he was always polite to us, when in the casino. Sad life of drugs an ppl screwing him over was just sad.

I went to the same hair salon as sandy. It was the biggest scandal of the time. Everyone I knew thought they were guilty. The Binions were a great family. Most of them were really nice. Not mentioning names. My friend and I were out on the town. Going back 30 years. He comped us to a car and room so we didn't have to drive. We were 2 locals. That useful to work there once upon a time. Very sad story. Old as time.

Weather they did this to protect him or not it didn’t help their case for murder. They should have locked up his properties down using their influence with corrupted law enforcement.

I love how they keep saying his fiancé was this stunning woman, this femme fatal. This is not a freaking movie. She was mediocre at best. Just a scheming, manipulative, money hungry, greedy woman. 1 of many. I don’t think his family wanted cause of death changed from drug overdose to something else because they were ashamed. It seems everyone already knew Ted was on drugs and his family most likely knew this was general knowledge. I think they thought an OD was too convenient, especially given behavior and suspicious activity of his fiancé and her new BF, and I agree

These two should be serving life without the possibility and both are free and thriving today.

They were both incredibly lucky that had a second chance, which they never should have had.

Just goes to show the chancey situation when a fallible jury has the future of an individual in their hands. Often the case is not clear cut and if they are found innocent, it’s not 100% sure and if they’re found guilty that too isn’t 100% sure. It can’t be unless there’s a confession. Weird situation all round. Here the couple are guilty in the first round then innocent in the second, yet nothing had changed. Go figure.

I'll never change my mind. She and her BF killed him. Just watch the video of her taken on a walkthrough of the house after his murder. They did it.

Hard to prove because he was already a drug addict. The evidence might be circumstantial, but rather unsettling. If they did get away with murder, I wonder how the second husband sleeps at night.

Has anyone here been badgered by someone for hours? Say, 3 hours...no one can keep cool. It gets to you, you will want to jump them and then they will say: see, you are crazy and not in control of your emotions therefore you did it. Anyway, lawyers have all their tricks figured out. I am sorry about any lawyers here but you need to be a jerk to manipulate people in the way you do so they spend the rest of their life in jail and you win.

How on earth can you say that Tamron Hall is an “investigative journalist” when all she does is take stories from DECADES ago, that have been told and retold millions of times, and just republish them with ZERO new input. Wow!!! She is amazing......🙄🙄🙄

Not everyone has seen these cases. Also, she's done more than some "investigate journalists" like Nancy Grace. Plus, there's *numerous* other true crime shows you could watch. Go be a 🤡🤡🤡 somewhere else
