I always thought it was Scottish this as the Corrie Folk Trio or The Corries did it with different lyrics. It made me laugh when you said you'd give it a lash....lol.

such a great lesson!, love the key its in as well! ^^, really like this song and always wanted to learn guitar for how many times ive heard it XD, loved the rythem to this and the lyrics, its so fun to sing sometimes lol, and me being a beginner guitar player, and my basic knowledge, this was easy to sing and play! :D, thx to the basic chords and the rythem, i managed to sing the lyrics i know and play along :3, thank you for this lesson, awlays wanted to learn this song for the fun of it lol, great easy progression! ^^
