I have a profound respect for this organist. Not only does he play from memory but his technique is flawless, not to mention his interpretation of the music of the great Johann Sebastian Bach. Bravo Mr. Zecca.
Great and superb execution, have my most felt compliments. First time I hear this piece with the proper and correct tempo - without any undue shifts. Your Bach executions are uniquely masterful. My respects. Regards from the UK...
What a true artist. He plays effortlessly and by memory. Such talent. Thank you. The "Wedge" is probably the most difficult Bach major work, other than his trio sonatas. Bravo!
This was wonderful. One of my favorite organ fugues besides 543. I think e minor is a special key for Bach, I thought of the 6th partita 1st movement, it has those chromatic episodes also although not technically a fugue, I guess it is actually. e minor seems to be a sober mood without being depressing. I think of something profound and earthy, sometimes a flash of humor or inside musical joke that only players can understand. I don't play organ because my feet don't connect at all. I can hum at the same time. I also think of WTC e minor prelude bk 1, I really like the harmony of it, so interesting and daring, parts remind me of late Chopin. I am so happy a good friend introduced me to Bach organ works, as a pianist I probably would have never listened to it. In fact, I received recently the D'Albert transcription of the Pass. and Fugue in c minor. I mostly listen to the Stokowski transcription because I love the strings playing lines, it almost sounds like it is written for string orchestra. Bach's genius here with the angular shape of the subject and the plantive countersubject, such genius.
@@777rogerf I think it won't be photographic memory. I set myself the task of memorizing the Prelude and Fugue (548), and I say that only to make the point that memorizing the music involves several mental processes. Although I do have a mental image of how the music is set out on the page I couldn't write it out note for note from memory.

That is so true, and he is also playing on an instrument that does full justice to Bach's music.

On which planet are you born? Fantastic interpretation.
Eccellente!
He knows it by heart ? No score ? Respect!
Oh, he has the score, enabled by photographic memory. And what a gift it is for a musician, especially an organist.

The only thing i hate is the major finale!
