Any time I’m feeling anxious, I come watch a “momdre” video, and I instantly am comforted & feel at-home. I have cyber adopted myself into your family. 🙃
I lost my mom 2 years ago, let me tell you your mom literally fills my heart with joy. Please give her a big hug for me and just thank her for being her
Yes. I lost my mom in 2015 and Terry just really fills my heart with joy. I recently ordered $100 worth of chocolate from you guys and of course it was amazing. I just love supporting people that put such passion and love into what they do. When she picked up the ketchup lid... “I don’t do that at the store, just up here.”
Love your folks! I also like how much your parent embrace the whole UA-cam/social media thing. They're super supportive of you and I think that's awesome! Most people seem to put syrup on French toast, but I grew up putting butter and sprinkling sugar on it. I never had French toast with syrup until I was 15 or 16. Apparently I was raised under a rock?! Lol!
Omgosh Craig funniest video ever. Laughed so hard at Momdre melting onto the floor, your Dad making the loser sign, and various comments that all of you have made. Happy belated Blissful Anniversary Mr and Mrs A. Your videos are getting more progressive as there is a so much more on veganism, vegan food and ingredients, vegan hacks, shopping, cooking implements, and all other interesting tidbits. The story about Cara and the Chocolate covered cherries was funny. Thank you for entertaining and enlightening us. You all rock, Kat, Dylan, and Max too. Can't wait for the next video.
I used to bake and cook with brown sugar.....a lot. would pack brown sugar in 1/4 cup servings and could lift out the right amount after it hardened up which happens quick around here.
I'm vegetarian and once a month I do "bean soak day." I'm sure you can deduce the nature of this day. I then freeze the soaked beans, they freeze perfectly, and I never have to worry about soaking my beans ahead of time. I hope this helps in some small way! Thank you for the bbq bean recipe. I am making it tonight! :) Have a blessed day Terry, Steve, Craig, Kara, and all other family members of which I am unaware. :)
Like all your videos on here and Hercules channel I watch over and over lol but just had to say I got an instant pot for Christmas and I LOVE it!!! I’m with your mom, I share a bond with mine too 😂🤷🏻♀️😍
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣just blurring out mom's eyes🤣🤣🤣🤣 Every time I watch your videos I'm glued to the screen watching for your subtle little editing thingys. Love it!!!
@@NoEggCraig Welcome did have the beans for dinner tonight. Slight change but still very good! Didn't have the Chipotle powder so my husband pulled out a Vegan Cajun spice blend we had in the cabinet and used that in replace of it. Awesome flavor and thanks for sharing your family's recipe!
It turned out so delicious. I ate two bowls. I loved the warm heat. It’s just me and my husband so we will be eating beans for a few days. Thanks for the recipe. 🙏🏻
I love your mom. ♥️ She is the best. I love her sense of humor (which she has clearly passed on to you!) Happy 34th, was it?, Anniversary to your parents. 😉
I have one of those from princess house!! Hate chopping anything...look I use it for onions...peppers... tomatoes...potatoes...eggs...and even........strawberries for strawberry shortcake!!!! Darn it....now i want strawberries............
The parents! Momdre and Quick Steve 🤗 ... and Craig was there😂 So much fun in the kitchen with Terry. When she was on the floor and the camera came around to Steve!🤣🤣 the look on his face! I know this was filmed a while ago but Happy Anniversary again! Great edit Craig, the Dylan loves butter comment 👍😄 🌱💚
use himalayan salt - it is much better for you. Using broth the liquid would be thin enough to count as water to prevent the burn message. It's the thickness of the liquid that is the issue. For example if you did use all barbecue sauce you would definitely need to thin it down with water. (Experience is a good teacher.)
I have one of those onion choppers. Because they produce so little juice I now buy the bulk bag of onions, chop them all in one go and freeze them. Without all the liquid they break up easily after freezing. Saves $$$ and time, without sacrificing taste. Bonus no stinky hands 🤓Momdre needs a Misto. Me thinks she would enjoy it.
I can’t believe you resisted a “slow as molasses” joke as you were trying to add the molasses to the bean recipe. It’s ok my brain filled in the spot. LOL, I love the puns you all make. I won’t send the bean police after you, this time! Haha. Happy Anniversary
I really miss you all in the kitchen, making things & having a great laugh. I loved your smiley faced spoon & finely found a wooden 1 at a boot sale 🤗. Keep the cooking vids coming, pleaseeeeeeeee 😂
I would love one of those pots for making brown pinto beans. Another tip, the longer you cook your beans, like just regular, the less gas they have and the thicker the sauce gets.
Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to you and the Mr. . Looks like great planning. Looking forward to when you use your phone's bluetooth to control all that madness. Enjoy your videos. Thank you for Sharing NE Craig, Momdre and Mr. Herc'.
I finally made this recipe on Memorial Day for my family. It was so easy and everyone loved them over baked (grilled) potatoes. So delicious. Definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing and I’m glad I thought of it a year later. 🇺🇸🥔🌱
🎉🎊Happy Anniversary🎊🎉 my goodness I feel ya momdre, I Can't Stand raw onion😣😭😩 and the quick chopper (I hope "my virgin kitchen" comes out with a better one) is super awesome (weirdly enough I like to chop though lol)!! Btw it's fine to warm up Brown sugar, but I'm tellin ya just thrown in a marshmallow n it'll be fine. Ebook would be great😉 a few V's in this recipe, I love it😄
I made beans along with you this morning! I have my delay timer set for 6 hours though... A long time until beans! I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't forget and run out of time.
If you want the IP to take less than 20 minutes to pressurize, you can always use the saute function to bring the liquid in the pot up to nearly boiling before turning on the cooking time. I find this cuts down on the pre-cooking time significantly. Obvi not helpful if you're using the delay function, but just in case you aren't, well, try pre-heating the ingredients and then turning it on :)
We made our first batch and love it! Though I used dry beans and it took 90 minutes in the instant pot. Yeah, next time I'm soaking the beans first. LOL!
I hope you rinse the mustard and catsup out of the bottles with the veg broth or vinegar. Then rinse in water and recycle the bottles. Love your family dynamic, especially the Dynamic Terry!
We are The Camachos And the blue shirt that she wore just accentuated her beautiful eyes and the earrings. Craig and all of his family are very attractive people.
You and your mom are so fun to watch! Hello from that one girl who fangirled over you two in that one video! Your videos are so funny. 😊👌🏽 And your mom is so witty! 💗
Yum yum yum! I will be making these for the fam! They won’t even know they are vegan! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I have a simpler iPot. Programming that one is like programming the IV pumps at work! 😱
Water content is a tricky issue. I manage many issues by cooking my food in a bowl above the water. Pressure cooking pasta in limited water is an interesting thing to do. Worrying about overcooking pasta is not a thing with limited water. It seems that if you fill the water about as high as the pasta it will boil up to temperature without burning then absorb all the water and it will retain bite. You have to let it cool till it looses pressure so that it doesn't bubble up and make a mess. Pressure cookers are a great way to avoid problems with foods boiling over. Many beans stop frothing after cooking but pasta does not and I am guessing chick peas do not. So pasta takes 5 minutes on the clock but it takes until the pressure equalizes for perfect pasta.
I made these this weekend and holy moly are they good! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Do you think your mom would mind if I demo this recipe during a vegan cooking class I'm doing?
The vent pipe is genius. The finish on my cabinet door was destroyed by the steam from my rice cooker, which doesn't even jet out as powerfully as this, as it isn't pressurized. We had to sand & refinish it to repair the damage (thankfully, we had already planned to re-do all the kitchen cabinet).
I literally love your laugh at people having parties for the wedding 😂😂 it is HUGE here in England and even I don’t get the fascination with it!! The laugh made me lol 😂😂
I have a bigger version of that. 3 different size dice. Called a Nicer Dicer but does so much more. Only problem is if you break a cutter you have to buy a compete new one as they will not sell you just a replacement part. I use mine every couple of days to make a Carrot, Potato and Swede mix as a basis for my main meal
Thanks for sharing! I use similar ingredients but haven't tried making them in the Instant Pot... Definitely will try! Hey have you guys used the Orrington Farms Vegan Ham bouillion? I get it on Amazaon. They also have Vegan beef, chicken and vegetable which are all very good! Just my 2 cents....
Terry, she is so lovely! She reminds me of my mom and dad, but most my dad. I like this lady a lot, she is so funny. Your dad is funny also, how he make the gesture of her drining lol.
Oh man now i wanna get an instant pot. That looks so good. My brother and i came up with a bean recipe it came out awesome but i used my crock pot the regular kind now i need to get an instant one lol. May i ask how many quarts is yours? Your mom reminds me of my oldest sister , always smiling and very cheerful. I love it.
The I have it’s the same shape and colour and things but there’s different little compartment you slid in and out the side and you have to yous you hand to slide up and down to cut were I kinda like yours better lol.
I saw a video that your dad might find interesting. He might have already seen it..but thought I would share...Around MeBD transforming of Wheat flour and sugar. I guess it's some kind of sweet?
The thing you used to dice the onions is called a Slicer Dicer. I bought mine from Ebay. The only problem is if you brake a blade they will not sell you a replacement you have to buy a complete new one. So am on my second one now. For slicing I prefer a Mandolin

1971browneyes my rock must've been bigger we would only eat French toast as is ... no toppings 😲😲 the concept of sweetness on top seems weird to me
interesting, I've only used syrup before, and it's definitely nice to have very supportive parents, it makes everything easier
I swear over the last couple of years I've watched this video about 6 times. I'm a long time subscriber and I love your relationship with your Mom❤❤
You are not lazy Momdre, you are efficient .... I gotta try that cauliflower and the beans. I bet the beans would be good with a white sweet potato.
You guys are a hoot. Thanks for showing a family that has a blast together. Mom really keeps things simple and fun.
A Q&A video with momdre would be a dream come true!
I double checked and I already have everything to make this, yay! It's 95 degrees out, I don't want to go to the store. Yum.
I’m so new to this channel but this is my favorite family. They’re so funny and so sweet, it makes me happy.
I love my Instant Pot so much! That and my Vitamix are my "can't live without" kitchen tools. Thanks for the recipe. 😊
I hope you try it and let me know how you like it!

I want 1 of those instant pots, it looks brilliant. Going to have to track it down & see if I can get 1 in the uk. 🤗
How was the trip home, getting you notifications again by the looks ;D
It was quick and with unexpected lots of leg room which was nice!
I made these this weekend and holy moly are they good! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Do you think your mom would mind if I demo this recipe during a vegan cooking class I'm doing?
Demo away - the more vegans the better - just remember to credit this channel, please and thank you!
My parents wedding anniversary was yesterday 42 years! It's so nice to find couples stay together these days its hard to find.
Terry needs to be on prime time network television. She is that cool talking to her time delayed bean cooker.
I think of Terry as the mother of all of vegan UA-cam. We're so lucky to have her!
I just told her what you said and her response was "well okay then, eat your vegetables."
Terry I love you!! Thanks for the video gonna make it
Love your channel Craig ...
as well as,your parents candy channel.....✅&✅
ps...great recipe
Thanks so much I hope you enjoy the recipe!
Thanks!
Can you plug in the bread machine to turn on the instant pot?
hmmmm that idk, we haven't tried that combination yet
Happy Anniversary Mom and Pop!
These are anniversabeans
haha yes they are
If your brown sugar gets hard Terry put a piece of bread in it it'll soften it back up
Terry, she is so lovely! She reminds me of my mom and dad, but most my dad. I like this lady a lot, she is so funny. Your dad is funny also, how he make the gesture of her drining lol.
Burman is Aldi's more standard sauces and Fusia is mostly Asian sauces, etc
Good to know
Some chopped onions and weenies would be good with the beans too. My mom always but some brown sugar in the beans.
I love it.
I have something similar to the handy dandy box thing only it has a lot more different cutters and things.
We were trying to find that out in the video
The I have it’s the same shape and colour and things but there’s different little compartment you slid in and out the side and you have to yous you hand to slide up and down to cut were I kinda like yours better lol.
Beans are the gift that keeps on giving 💨
Thanks Craig the puzzle is solved. Keep up the good work you guys are an encouragement to new and old vegans😄😂
Your family is very important to me. When I can't find you, I panic ! You give me the feeling of home.
Where did you get the instant pot and the accessories like the extra pot and lids??
Happy Anniversary to dad and mom.
Thanks for another great recipe.
I missed these videos...your mom making recipes!
Yeah I missed them too, she's just so busy it's hard to carve out time to do a video with her
I saw a video that your dad might find interesting. He might have already seen it..but thought I would share...Around MeBD transforming of Wheat flour and sugar. I guess it's some kind of sweet?
this recipe looks amazing!!
Believe it or not it even tastes amazing!
The thing you used to dice the onions is called a Slicer Dicer. I bought mine from Ebay. The only problem is if you brake a blade they will not sell you a replacement you have to buy a complete new one. So am on my second one now. For slicing I prefer a Mandolin
Two billion people watched it Craig. And my cat had her kittens that day. I called the ginger one harry.
I feel the same way as Momdre about my Instant Pot, pure love.
