The 336 in 30-30 looks sweet ⚡️
$2K AU for the 336 here in Australia. That said, the local cafe is selling a bowl of soup for $20.
I have a 336 that is 40 years old great gun! But I really want that 1895, 45-70 guide gun... sweet!
Ya the model 39 and/ or the model 39A would definitely be nice but also the model 94 in 357 magnum.
I need to be a collector. These will go into history as the finest made.
Nice reviews. Well done! Thank you.
Great review Kristin! Thanks!!👍💥💯
I’ve got the ‘94. Now I need the 336. Maybe 2 336s since you mention they may be introducing a 35 Remington chambering. Above all, like you, I’d love to see the Model 39 come back. My vote goes to the 39M. Not A. It was a 20”. Shorter bbl. Handier. Much more efficient for 22lr. And as for the big bore I love anything 45-70. Love the looks and feel(I work behind the gun counter at Cabela’s so I get to handle them when they come in) of the SBL. But I’m really holding out for Ruger’s version of the Model 444. Hopefully as classic as the 336 and 94. Thank you for a great video. Your previous videos made a subscriber out of me. I appreciate you
Great video, Kristen. Wish they were more affordable as the old Marlins were. Plus, they need to bring back the Model 39!
Great review Kristin, thanks for sharing it.

Yes Rugar,model 39a,Winchester just brought a 22 lever out!
I bought a big boy steel 45 colt. Ruger did not convince me they were going to make it.
Just found your channel. Don't know how I missed it till now. That being said, pleased to meet you Ma'am! 👍
the 1894c is my absolute favorite! i love that flat top hidden ejection port and that cool side hammer bolt....super cool. with a pic rail, its a real winner!!
Thanks Kristen. You always do a great job.
Just picked up the new Ruglin 1984C in .357 magnum to compliment my 1978 royal blue Colt Python in custom wood grips. Awesome combination for those rural Tennessee Sunday BBQ's. 😊 Had to have at least one lever in collection after gifting my JM 336 to my youngest son for his first deer rifle.😊
Q: Which Ruger-made Marlin is right for me?
A: All of them!
Seems nice. I just hate to pay $1300 for what should be a $500 or $600 rifle. I know inflation and all, but that’s still what it is brand new in my head. Makes it hard to justify the ridiculous purchase.
Would have been nice if the guide gun was set up like the SBL with rear sights and no fiber optic. Stainless just doesn't do it for such a nostalgic rifle and the Skinner sights are nice
I'd like a blued 336 in 400 Legend and a blued 94 in 38-40 WCF. Both in rifle configuration without the barrel bands.
personally in my opinion the marlin 336 is the best lever action rifle ever
Model 39, yes
you, I like, very well done videos!
I think these new Marlins look great but I don't like the safety. My old Winchester 94 and my newer Henry lever guns don't have safeties. I know I'm nit picking, but I'm a potential customer. I always love Kristin's videos. She knows her stuff!
the henry rifle does have a safety it's a locking bar safety, I wish that ruger had gone to that instead of the crossbolt. That being said I own one of the 1895 sbl's and she outshoots my henry 45-70.
That's a strange way to propose but I accept
the only thing I wished that ruger had done was go to the locking bar safety and did anyway with the stupid crossbolt safety. Yes they need to bring the 39a back into production, I have an old 39a made back in 1951 with the peanut brass( brass peanut shaped insert only year that it was produced). paid 300 bucks for her.
Well, i told my wife no more guns im full. Guess i lied, i mean forgot 😮
Want em all !
The only correct answer!
Just bought a 1894C in 357. Woohoo! 🇨🇦
I have an early-mid 80's model. In great shape!! Love it.
SWEET !!!
Easy answer: any of the Classic series. None of the others for me. And yes a Classic model 39 and 1895 45-70.
Kristin is one cool chick and she certainly knows her stuff. Great vid 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Cool
I want the 1894 in a saddle-ring carbine. Stainless steel. Period buttplate. Period barrel band. Lose the sling attachments. Lose the weird bullseye on the stock. All old-style period, except--- stainless.
I wonder if Ruger is going to make the Marlin 1894 Cowboy with the octagon barrel
Wow wow nice 👍
I know some people think these "picaniny" rails are the bees knees, but my experience with them has been horrible. Aside from being butt ugly they flex too much. Scopes won't hold zero.
RUGLIN
Early JM’s
maybe i can sell my liver ,and get one -----------good thing i`ve got an old 94`
I'm # 300 like, I'm thinking i win a prize or something
Ruger needs to offer the 336 in the 1896 trim , stainless w/ lam stock , and bring the price down ALOT no way i would pay even close to a grand for one of these
good luck even rossi (who lets face it isn't the best reputation wise) are getting 800 for there 45-70 model. henry are a grand ( I bought one new a month ago and it had to be sent back to the factory to be fixed 3 days after I bought it. With the ruger made marlin you are getting high quality to justify the price, I have one and she goes bang every time and at 100 yards you can cover the groupings with a quarter with iron sights.
Push button safety... Pass. Guess its Henry for me
Some people are real whiny asses over nothing.
The safety is probably too complicated for the haters to use.
Another great Video!
Have fun being second best, OP
good luck read reviews on the henry rifle there is a reason why everybody knows about henry warranty. I bought a new 45-70 henry golden boy octagon barrel took her out and she light primed striked 8 out of 10 rounds (winchester super x) she wouldn't fire hornandy, she wouldn't fire remington (without light primer strikes), only federal hammerdown ammo would shoot from her and she would constantly jam. I had to send it into the factory and they replaced everything internal and she now shoots. Want to know how many times I have had to send my 1895 in for repair? I'll tell you none she has gone bang everytime plus holding 7 rounds is better then holding 5.
Neither one of them!! The best Marlin lever guns were made by Remington. The false Remlin thing was just that false!! Those were J.M. Marlin lever gun parts assembled by former J.M. Marlin workers after Remington bought Marlin. Remington did not produce one Marlin lever gun until 2016.;All the so called Remlins were before that. They should have been called J.M. Blemin’s!!
lmao sure buddy I own the ruger marlin and she is smooth as butter, I worked a remington sbl and that action was garbage.
No need for all the immature Godless profanity.
Welcome to 2024.
