would not recommend this guest again.
yeah he was kind of a freak loser i think
he looks like those disguise glasses
yeah he makes me feel bad about my lack of mustache
yeah, bet he has weird knees
Yeah he makes me envy him whenever I look into a mirror
you all seem like great guys
it'd be nice if you all knew each other so sad that's never happened or will happen
kurtis you should definitely come on this podcast
@@BiratesoftheCaribbean if they never met each other, then they'd all be sad boyz
@@meowtaindewd he was just on 2 weeks ago bro learn the lore
edit: or maybe that was sarcasm that flew over my head idk lol
@@meowtaindewd impossible.
Jarvis always holding the mic like he is about to deliver the most soul shaking guttural scream in a metalcore gig
He learned mic holding from Kurtis. Kurtis went to college for it, so
The more rings you wear, the more you white-knuckle the mic. This is science.
Jarvis has that Hatebreed energy
I need to see the Sad Boyz logo in that scary metal font.
One day he's going to just bust out in an amazing cover of RECREANT by Chelsea grin
I love that my teen and I can watch this together and have an awesome time. We are both learning, laughing, and they are seeing kind, thoughtful, emotionally mature men being open and respectful towards each other. It matters. All of you are doing genuinely good work that has a profound material impact. Sincerely, thank you so much for reliably delightful and thought provoking content.
from the bottom of our collective heart thank you so much
Knowing that there's parents with teens that can enjoy a podcast like this and bond together gives me so much hope for future generations. I'm not even kidding. My parents would never even give this a chance lol. Thanks for sharing this great comment
this makes me incredibly happy
I love this!
much love to you both!
We’ve been trained by Pixar movies to love Eddy. He is the internet’s real life Pixar dad.
Eddy Burback is the Pedro Pascal(or whatever lovable dad is relevant in the off-season of TLoU) of UA-cam.
@@kiernanhardiman5382 pedro pascal aka white boy of the week (middle aged)
OMG, THAT'S WHAT IT IS! 😻
that's it! Eddy is friend shaped. This is strictly a complement. He's reassuring and disarming.
@@leaffinite2001pedro pascal is chilean bro
Jordan sits the most bisexual, Jarvis sits the most straight, and Eddy sits like he learned what sitting was from movies. Change my mind
Jacob doesn’t sit because he’s and ethereal being with no corporeal form
omg THE merobiba in the flesh
The whiplash of being like "hehe funny comment I'll like it" and then realising that the user who commented it is Merobiba
Jarvis sits like he's compensating for something
You should have ended your comment with "And I'm Merobiba." I agree 100% with all of it though.
Don't wanna get all controversial here but goddamn it's good to have eddy back in podcast form
not controversial, just true! the man was made to podcast lol
I feel the exact same!! I missed him 🥺 I hope he ends up doing one with someone again
Maaaiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllll 💖
Absolutely. He’s just made for podcasting
I have always hoped he would revive the podcast with Tony :( I miss a weekly Eddy podcast
I grew up watching you guys and now im a quasi adult starting my first engineering post. As a woman, I am so happy to say that I ve never felt even a lil bit left out of the conversation while watching your videos and knwoing that content creators like you exist make me feel weirdly hopeful despite everything. Love from Morocco/France.
"quasi adult starting my first engineering post"
Lol big mood. Hang in there, I'm sure we'll get the hang of it!
Congrats on the post! As someone commenting way later, I hope it's going well!
28:41 I am an English teacher in Spain, and even though elementary kids here don’t comprehend much English, they absolutely worship Mr. Beast. So he really is influencing the younger generation around the world, for better or worse.
He also has a channel that’s in Spanish
@sewerrat7418 He just pays someone to dub his videos in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish, but based on intonation alone I’m pretty sure he specifically picked the guy with the most “HEY WHAT’S UP YOU GUYS?! TODAY I GAVE AWAY A TESLA!!” energy for the job haha
@@erinnielsen5423 I thout its the guy who dubed spiderman
@@erinnielsen5423 he doesnt just "pay someone", he hired a full dubbing company for his spanish channel, and he specifically asked for well known mexican voice actors for him and his friends, for example, the guy who makes Jimmy's voice in spanish is the former voice actor for Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man (although that guy was outed as a sexual weirdo and is banned from doing voiceover work pretty much everywhere so he's stuck being the spanish voice for Mr Beast lmao)
@@Mntan Whoa, thanks so much for the correction/further info, that’s really interesting. I didn’t mean to be reductive in saying he “just pays someone,” as I’m not surprised that he has the pull to get accomplished Mexican voice actors involved, but I understand why it came off that way so I apologize if I offended anyone in voiceover work.
jarvis didn’t get the mustache & glasses memo lol
i saw this comment and then scrolled up to see jarvis talking about something and eddy and jordan both nodding in unison making the same face and i laughed so hard
he's getting there now lol
I love that Jarvis used “uh-uh” as a reprimand instead of “no.” because no is used in many situations it can cause dogs anxiety even if it wasn’t directed at them, where as that verbal cue is softer, but also only used when speaking to the dog so they don’t have unnecessary anxiety.
jarvis & jordan dog? 😰🤫
only just got to the Frankie moment, makes a lot more sense thinking that Eddie was treating the dog that way, not Jarvis and Jordan...
I didn't know this
My family uses “no” for my younger siblings when they do something bad so for the dogs we use an “ah” noise instead. It clears up who’s in the wrong and who it’s directed at lol.
@@froggy5748 i love that i know exactly what the "ah" sounds like, i do the exact same with my dog 😂
Amazing episode. It may be corny, but this is what actual critical thinking and insightful commentary looks like. Sprinkle in some friendly conversation and comedy, and you've got a recipe for a great podcast like this one.
I absolutely agree it is wonderful to see people who are critical of the problem not the person
1:02:09 no lie commentary UA-camrs made me a better person. I grew up Christian and conservative and very sheltered, but I started confronting the harmful things I’d been taught when I started watching commentary UA-camrs a few years ago (particularly kurtis, jarvis, and nickisnotgreen). They kind of got the ball rolling for me to do some soul searching and get educated.
“commentary youtubers made me a better person because i’m not christian and conservative anymore” lmaoo
@@showtime1235 yeah, not being conservative does generally make you a morally better person.
@@showtime1235 you left out the very sheltered part, i was raised the same way and i can also say these youtubers made me a better more accepting person

Lol, I’m pretty much the exact same way-
I love that Eddy is looking more and more like he's from the 70's.

The energy of this video is so great, it’s great to see creators and friends build each other up and celebrate each other’s work
Jordan sits how I wish my knees would let me sit. Truly bisexual sitting.
Eddy sits like he’s hiding a secret.
I think these guys arent even that sad they look really happy to see each other :(
frankie is so precious i love how flappy and wrinkly her face is 🥰 she looks so happy to be with her boys
im really happy that people are finally criticizing mrbeast, im not saying to hate him or cancel him but he does have a responsbility and theres been some feedback that has been falsely labelled as "backlash" or "hate" when its more out of concern than anything. but most criticism gets shut down because he does charity, which shouldn't give him a free pass of anything.
I agree! I don't think he's a bad person, but he does need to realize the kind of person he is and how people see him. I think the Boys hit on so many great topics this session!
Yea def there is a difference between blind hate and genuine constructive criticism yet they are treated the same
Someone should've brought Jarvis groucho glasses so he could match Eddie and Jordan
"his uncle ben hasn't died yet" struck me as a really profound statement. wow
15:44 I think my favorite thing ever is my younger sister (she’s 15) likes to talk about things she watches with our parents. Eddy’s video being one of them. It was kinda cool to walk in on that convo of her talking with our dad
jarvis seems he’d be an amazing teacher for upper elementary and middle school aged children
There's a thai restaurant in my neighborhood (local, family owned) that has gotten on the trend and has about 30 different listings on delivery apps. It's actually a restaurant that you can go to in person (and has been around for years). I'm kinda proud of them that they saw this shitty ghost kitchen trend and were like "nah, we're going to make 30 different puns with the word thai, and now we'll be so busy that we had to convert half our restaurant into an assembly line for doordash orders". Love it when the little guys take a stab back at the giant corporations.
Yeah but it’s also a little bit sad that they have to do that in the first place, but hey they’re makin bread 🤑🤑
@@angelvu oh definitely. Capitalism is a literal nightmare.
An addition: I just went to look at their names on DoorDash again and “Phuket I’m Vegan” took me out.
There's a Thai place in my neighborhood that has six and a half tables but those mf NEVER stop cooking takeout orders.
So I think every guest changes the vibe of the show which is how every guest based podcast works but man Eddy just melds in so easily that it's the exact vibe as just Jordan and Jarvis. Like if Eddie became the 3rd host I wouldn't bat an eye
That would be a dream!
"I don't like the cut of your jib" is a very underrated way to confront someone and should be used on reality shows, regularly.
You guys do a podcast that regularly runs more than an hour, AND are doing an extra bonus patreon episode each time!? Absolute freaking legends
Editor putting TENDER love and care into these edits. The angles are 🤌
Thanks for addressing that for people with chronic illnesses and disabilities, having the validity of their condition called into question because they are at times able to do some things is one of the most crushing, unfair and invalidating things. A lot of wheelchair users can use their legs to some degree or walk at certain times. A lot of chronic conditions flare up from time to time and the symptoms vary from day to day. So many people use this "well, you don't seem sick today" type shit to imply that people's conditions are fake or that they're leaning on them out of laziness or in an attempt to get out of doing things. This sort of shit makes life so much harder for people whose lives are already disproportionately hard. It's really sad.
I have the same illness as the guy involved in this situation, and i love how eddy mentioned that not everyone with the same condition is the same. That shit pisses me off so much lol
God, I’m so glad Eddy he turned out to be a good guy after all.
I always thought he was, but it really seems like it’s true, and that fills me with hope after some of the things that have happened over the last years.
This is my favorite mental health content. Eddy Burback's ghost kitchen video was really fun and interesting to watch. I love those long form videos. 💖
I have commented so much to others how actively impressed I am with Jarvis's dog training haha. Dipper isn't a major focus, but whenever he's around or mentioned is So Observably Well Trained. An odd thing I've thought about over time & streams n stuff, seems like the most available & appropriate time to say something that someone else knows the context lmao
i appreciate how empathetic y’all are to jimmy - being able to put yourself in a place to see things from his perspective/worldview especially. he and i are literally from same area down south and even had a mutual friend back at high school age. and she always spoke super highly of him.
as someone born and raised in that same part of the south, i completely understand why he’s like this and it took ME leaving the south and being a homeless disabled adult to begin to grasp what is systemically very dark, scary and real about the world we are living in.
i have absolute hope that jimmy can grasp this in time. he seems like every millennial that comes out of that specific type of cultural environment, and many of us learn and grow.
i definitely do worry about him on a human level being thrust into such an overwhelming place of power. he’s still so young.
another great episode boys:’))
Positive masculinity at its best. I hope young men and boys find this podcast and listen because as someone in my late 20s, the realization of the absolute sharks I jumped as a late teenager/early adult is INSANE and having this kind of nuanced conversation presented to me at that time might have stopped me from perpetuating some seriously problematic stuff
every episode i expect Jarvis to say "hey I'm Jarvis" and then Jordan to say "and I'm Johnson"
I love this podcast. I’m a young man and you three are the type of man I want to be. Y’all are good role models.
I don't listen to podcasts often but this right here is the best podcast. I don't even need to listen to others to know that. Congrats on getting to do them in person and on a better schedule!✨
The newest Musk shit especially pissed me off as someone who also has Muscular Dystrophy (albeit a different and more severe kind, I think). Also about the typing thing, I personally can't type on a keyboard so I use an onscreen keyboard that I control with my mouse. And for my phone I use voice stuff.
Great pod as always, keep being amazing boyz
jarvis now is the guy with cool rings and i am the guy wondering where he gets them
Eddy looked at Mr Beast, went "I can fix him", and you know what? He probably could get his HP as a villainous force down at least 30%
Eddy talking about having a “villain of the week” and everything on the internet seeming so intense/life or death when he was younger made me realize why I was so obsessed with every aspect of UA-cam drama and thought UA-cam was this epicenter of hell in high school. I feel like I’m approaching things much more maturely now. Cool moment. Cool podcast.
Hell yes, greatest collaboration episode of all time, let's go
This is insane, Jimmy has always felt off to me, and you guys were able to vocalize my gripes with him amazingly
I think it's totally braindead to not appreciate someone that makes money to then give it away.
The guy has taken out mortgage sized loans just to make videos to then break even to build the brand.
I didn't say I dont like him, I said something was off about him, basically he has problems even if he is a philanthropist
eddys fit is seriously so good im obsessed
It’s the opposite of Jarvis and Jordon’s outfit combined lol
Bobrosscore
eddys amazing fashion sense needs to be addressed more
It's a Canadian tuxedo!
i want to steal all of his clothes but as a girl i have no idea where to get good mens clothing lol
smiling like an absolute goober at my screen bc of how CUTE Frankie is I love her
working at a crisis center can b pretty stressful so i'm glad to have some sad boyz and co to get me thru it ♡
Poor Frankie - this is like sitting in the room while your boyfriend, your ex, and your secret crush talk about how amazing you are...and how none of them could be in a long-term relationship with you because you deserve better. 😔
i feel like eddy just radiates goodness,, he's like if a person were a puppy or smth, like just wholesome friendly pure energy. he feels like the type of dude who could be your bff that you tell everything to and he would never insult your feelings but he would also always be honest, which is the most beautiful kind of friendship imo.
idk man like some people just have specific vibes that cannot be explained. like myself, for example, apparently i look like the type of person you should ask directions from because i have been stopped quite a lot in my life by random strangers to ask me how to get places and then i have to (usually) disappoint them because i'm shit at directions lmao.
side note: i'm not sure it'd be worth trying to fight elon over it, but the ceo/owner of a business is definitely breaking some fucking laws by disclosing private health information about an employee, especially on a public platform like twitter.
I love how serious and genuine this podcast comes across and I love that y’all don’t shy away from nuance and thought-out takes, esp when considering meta level internet discourse
I've been hoping to see Eddy on the pod for a while
fr
he's 24, not a kid lmao I hate how infantilised he is.
watching this video feels like when you sit at the table next to the cool kids
Thank you for talking about animal fostering! I do a lot of volunteer work for animal rescue, and foster families are quite literally saving lives by giving us the room to help more animals and prevent euthenasia.
I think I can speak for all rescues when I say we always welcome new foster parents! So to anyone reading this who's interested in fostering or volunteering in any way, please reach out to your local rescue/shelter. We need foster homes, but we also need people who can come in and just hang out with the animals for enrichment and socialization ❤️
I adored this episode, it's so wholesome to know you're all good chums in real life too! You are all excellent human beings, thank you for the pod/vidcast! Also, Jordan, I *totally* get the "dog uncle" thing, my best friend's cat is my grandcatson and he's a beautiful idiot that I get to dote on then leave.
Buca does mean a hole in the sense of a pothole or hole in the ground. Then there is buco, which is more like a hole in fabric. So Buca di Beppo could literally be translated as Beppo’s Hole.
I liked the part where Eddy said 'it's Morbin' time!' and they all shared a crisp blu-ray of Morbius staring Jared Leto from 30 Seconds to Mars
The thing about charity when your that rich, is thats its disproportionate in comparison to his wealth. the acts themselves are amazing, but its unbalanced in comparison to those that give with my less. Hes in a position to actually change to route of problems, but hes still tackling it how a normal person would, with individual acts

I was excited as hell to see a video on ghost kitchens. I always end up in a rant about them when doordash is brought up lol
If somebody doesn't adopt Frankie after the doggie segment and all that sweet things that were said about her I swear I'm starting to save money and come to the us myself
The way you guys are talking about Beast fans made me think of the Blazing Saddles quote "These are just people of the land, the common clay of the West. You know … morons.”
And I agree
1:22:10 Jordan poses for a Denim Ad.
P.S. The guy I like looks VERY similar to Eddy and it’s weird lol. Like a twin. Funny he has multiple doppelgängers. Him and Danny G alike
Excellent points about Mr. Beast as well!
I wish Eddie was a permanent host, you three together are incredible ❤❤❤
The whiplash I get when they call a 24-year-old a "kid"
I love Eddys new look of "1970s car mechanic"
I think one of the most influential things about Mr. Beast is the fact that his *entire* platform is built literally on the idea that giving people money=good=success. His channel realistically took off only once he began the performative charity. From his perspective the idea that it's a bad thing has to be baffling, since doing it is what made him successful.
i was watching an older episode as this was posted. slayed.
40:49 bisexual sitting lol
I really hope the ghost kitchen video will be the giant break Eddy is deserving of.
You know, in the way that Rainforest Cafe just didn't hit big enough.
Every one of these ghost kitchen restaurants is just the store next to Bob's Burgers in the opening of every episode
I love Jordan adika!!!!!! I love content featuring Jordan adika!!!!!
This was SUCH a good episode
LOVE SAD BOYZ I listen to it while running, stuying, showerin;crochetin,
Late to the episode, but I think the ick you are referencing when it comes to the blind video is something that people in the disabled community call inspiration porn
Yeah Eddy Burback is almost the Tom Hanks of UA-cam
Eddy kitchen my ghost till i burback
Eddy you saved me and my partner from ordering from one of these. I called the number on the brochure we got in the mail to double check a day after I watched you video. He said on the phone they were a ghost kitchen which was nice he was honest. We are in a city in NH, I was arguing with my partner that it must be one since it had no dine in! Only take out and delivery. The brochure was a giant lie saying they were a new family owned resteraunt. So glad we checked.
Eddy just casually rocking the all denim outfit
This makes me so nostalgic for the Gus and Eddy podcast I would give at least 3 pennies and my first born child to see Eddy host a podcast
it’s strange bc eddy could seriously post a 20 minute video of him on the toilet talking about in depth lore on something and i would rewatch it every day
anyone else weirded out my Jordan's foot/ankle being flexed straight?
I love the thumbnail, it just looks like eddy is trying to sell me his burgers
I am gonna watch the half of it than in the morning I am gonna watch the rest of it so its going to be continuing laugh therapy
I'm really glad that this podcast exists because I have NO idea what the deal is with stuff like Mr Beast. I always hear about it and I'm just like "huh. So that's a thing"
Doordash Driver here I have delivered Wings and pizza from CHUcK-E-CHEESES! Pasqually's Pizza & Wings was the "name of the restaurant" on the app looks like a legit pizza place but really its literally the same pizza and wings they serve the 6 year olds but put in a different box felt so bad for the customer i told them it came from chuck e cheeses and to say they were shocked would be an understatement pretty sure they got their money back being that upset and shit i would be too if i paid some one to deliver shit pizza.
Pasqually is a character in the chuck e cheese lore
I hate to get off subject but Jarvis is distractingly hot af here 👀
the idea of deradicalization with humor has merit and quite a bit of history. Specifically *The Great Dictator* (1940)
I need more Eddy podcasting in my life. "and Eddy" podcast when?
Something about seeing Eddy in a podcast setting again made me suddenly sob, I didn’t realize how much I missed that comfort
Only someone who has never actually done any work in their life like elon can think that the ability to send 10-15 tweets is equivalent to a days work
Nothing but greatness in this pod. Question for anyone who might know, if I subscribe to the patreon in the future would I have access to all of the patreon exclusive episodes that have already happened???
yep
Jordan said he didn’t know about Buca di Beppo til ‘17 and I just had to search up how to spell it because I have never heard of it before
Really loved the Frankie section - it was so incredibly joyful and human, loved watching you guys talk about her and your relationships with her
As someone who's been following Eddy since like. Seeing his ZAD studios videos on iFunny with him and his friend Zac when I was wayyy younger- obviously like I don't know him personally. But the way he built his audience over time has always felt real and genuine to what he enjoys and wants to do- the reason I enjoy people like you guys is it just feels like you all are very passionate about your job and always do your best to put good out into the world. And I think that sort of thing develops a lot of respect from the audience watching. You guys are all incredibly talented and wonderful, and have built such a kind community on this little corner of the internet. I'll never know any of you but I'll always be grateful for what you've done and put out- Eddy is incredible and so are both of you.
(Brother: 7yrs old, me: older sister, cousin: also girl) With the thing about Mr beast having a lot of power over kids these days, there were these elementary school kids at the park in my town last summer that were jokingly trying to kidnap my little brother, saying they'd let him meet Mr beast. He almost genuinely went with them, but me and my cousin got him out of there.
edit: The kids were 100% just joking and extremely bored, since there's nearly nothing to do around town if you've already done it all a million times or don't have access to that activity. Still weird though.
Also, my brother is safe now, in case if I didn't make that already clear! :)
Eddy shouldn't have joked about becoming a permanent host on this show, bc now I want that
23:28 “it’s my buca di beppo” omg this needs to become an expression for like a word/phrase/manner of speaking that you enjoy
