As a STL native, I have to be grateful that my KC homies in college introduced me to Fat Tone, Rich the Factor, Mac Dre, Messy Marv, Luni Corleone, Boi Big, etc. Rest in Peace Fat Tone. I learned that KC is an extension of the Bay Area. I wish Tone had the opportunity to mature and make it big. . . . . . . .I wish KC would get behind one of the local artist so that the city could have an nation wide scope. Its alot of unrealized talent in KC.
Tech-Nine??
@@tlwilliams6004 Absolutely but I already knew about Tech because he is nation wide. Everybody in STL knows about Tech.
Was that dude tone ever in St. Louis?? I remember seeing a guy in the projects that looked just like him
@@montana4335 Not that I know off. IF he was in STL, he may have been doing some street stuff. But he didn’t live long enough for his music to get over there.
@@bighomiemac3472 i feel u. I just remember a guy from the jets in St. Louis who looked like him n was kinda bullying ppl down there lol
I’m glad you doin this! Our region deserves this quality of storytelling
You're a low life loser.
You doing your thang with these Documentaries. I am a Westcoast Nigga that has been up on KC since the 90's. Love that KC sound and energy they bring to this Rap Game.

Fat Tone raised a Generation of Gangmembers with his Raps. Minnesota been fuccin wit him since he was alive. He was Mozzy before Lil Tim #ImAVet
Mozzy ain’t shit like FT fat tone was a beast
The second I seen fat tone I instantly clicced. Raised off that shit, been fuccin wit it since a kid💯
Minnesota loved Fat Tone and Fat Tone loved minnesota I remember when he was freestyling at classic records at the free style battle shid a nigga was there in the flesh just a Mid West thang.
This comment and sentiment are stupid AF.
Oklahoma fucks with him hard too. Been on Tone since I was a kid, I'm in my 30s now.
Like E40 said never tell a chick all ur business cause one day she might be a eye witness Rip Mac Dre and Fat Tone good job on this tho Kc is the town
Yeah that ignorant mf told this chick a detailed confession not once not twice but ten got damn times, he must have wanted to go to prison
Mane, I was thinking about this same line a few moments ago 😂
This is the best detailed documentary of the Mac Dre/Fat Tone series of events to ever be put out. Great job. Crazy that you got the video of Jason Mathis girl giving detail of the crime to the detectives. Helluva job, finally seems like the story is completely told.

Hearing that Mac Dre told the DJ “ That’s Not My Job “ had the be 1 of the best stories ever 🤣💪🏾 RIP MACDRE
Thank you for this, great work! RIP Fat Tone & Tone Capone & Mac Dre
Fat Tone, Young Rich The Factor, Messy Marv, Young Devi, Ron Ron, the early 00s, and late 00’s the Bay Area and KC connection was in full affect back in the day
Devi and Ron Ron only got hot after tone got killed ron Ron n tone wasn’t fw each other at the time dude died.
This documentary is by far the best one so many ppl leave stuff out. And tone and Dre are legends and deserve their story around the world
You better look up Romper Room Gang, Dre wasn't someone who just made up rhymes. In Northern Cal lyrics are real life, not a movie script
Yea Same as Kansas City. And every other ghetto in America lol

And once Dre started making money he cut that shit out, don't ruin your bag from music to still do that shit.

I initially had my doubts at first but this was a dope video and outstanding content, backed up by undeniable facts and research. Keep up the good work.

I remember fat tone when my dad used to take me to my grandmothers house. He was raised by my uncle. My first cousin and I were really close and fat tone would be at his house. He was a chubby little kid and he used to crack me up 😂. I left KC at 8 and rarely saw him again only when I’d come visit and didn’t realize he grew up to be fat tone. I knew the story about him dying but didn’t connect the dots until I ran into his mom years later and she gave me all of his music asking me to re do some of the tracks. I’m so sad for the family. People are fans of King Von.
Doesn't make no sense, the glorification of harming your own ppl is beyond ridiculous. Like someone commented ppl idolized Von (ion consider him a king) I was tripping when I watched a short of Lebron James jamming to a von song about killings he committed and smoking his opps. It's cool to hate kill and disrespect the deceased, yeah ik we are at a disadvantage but after a while it becomes old. It's amazing how during the time when oppression was basically legal against person's of color our ancestors were able to still despite what they had to go through accomplish their goals. Going to get an education even though you're not wanted in the school having to deal with being harassed assaulted even murdered all bc you wanted to learn but once again despite the odds they made the best out of the conditions. They were brave fierce and did not give up. We were given opportunities never thought possible yet some of us are not even brave enough to do the right things and build our communities the way our ancestors did. It's quite sad.

Never going to happen
How the fuck is detective Babcock gonna walk into the hotel room of a murder victim and find a group of men riffling through his shit and then just let’s them go without detaining them and questioning them? Those dudes where probably working for the promoter and looking to see if they could find some cash or something of value to help recoup the loss of money from the shows. Makes you wonder if that detective is connected to the promoter?
Exactly
On the att bank robbery he refused the plea deal and was sentenced to 5 yrs. His co- defendants took the plea deal and was sentenced to 10 yrs. That's some backrds ass prosecution. They let him slide with the 5 so obviously had very little to no evidence against him. Our " justice " system is so broken so I had to point that out
I heard that he didn't go inside and that he was the lookout.
They didn’t even go through with the robbery so he couldn’t have been a lookout.. Dre got conspiracy to commit bank robbery because he wouldn’t tell what he did know..
KC in the house.
I use to play Fat Tone cd and my people in New York loved his music..
