Many years ago when I was a teenager I learnt about this from a friend's family..it was a common practice in her culture and something her grandmother practiced.. The only issue was that after 5 children in 4 yrs ( 2 sets of twins ) my friends parents started to realize that maybe their idea of prosperity and abundance was " slightly" different to her grandmothers understanding of prosperity and abundance lol.
