The reference to Carter Vail’s “Dirt Man” has brought my VERY separate worlds within the internet crashing together and it made me laugh and somehow also made me uncomfortable 🤣
I mounted a set of these yesterday and used dawn dish soapy water. Jeez they are gummy and a bit of a pain. Haven’t run em yet but watching your review first. Thanks.
Might need to get a spreadsheet for all of us to access/view with scores and foam compositions.
You mean the one that is constantly updated, and has had a link on the community board for months? Yeah, we have that.
@@CrawlerCanyon Found it. Thank you. Im new to the youtube member portion. I have never looked over in that section. Both
Thanks for the review. I was looking at these, as I am considering a WE RC Rock buggy build and rules state, "all tires must be scale licensed tires."
In a 1.9" Class 2, I can't see many options beyond RC4WD Baja Claws/Ground Hawg II, or the Vanquish Geolandars.
I’ve been having really good results with the PL TSL SX Swampers. SL3D in front and CI dual stage in the rears on my buggy and they look legit.
Maybe I should try some red compound tires. This time of year the rocks sweat because it's so damn humid here.
They do make the Wildpeak in Class 1.
looking good those, should try some silicone inserts, and a bit of tuning, see how great you can make them.😊
These are not at all suitable to silicone-- the sidewalls are too thin and too elastic. They need all the sidewall support they can get just to stay upright.
I know this is off topic. But could you do a side-by-side comparison with the Vanquish h10 optic and the RC four-wheel drive Miller Motorsport?
If a Miller was to appear in my shop in the next 10 days or so, I would say yeah. But the H10 is in on loan, and I've no plans to buy the Miller.
She sells saltwater Geolandars down by the seashore? The red compound does just fine in the local conditions, but I hate seeing the sidewalls wrap like that. It kills the scale appearance, which is the only reason these exist, and is so much energy wasted in just distorting the tire. Too good to throw away but not good enough to buy on their own merit. Another informative review.
while watching, I was eating a browner and chewing a piece of bacon; of both which I had just made. good times.
When you tested the extreme route Lamprey tire, did you mount them on the A-B side, or B-A side? And do you think it would make a difference? Would you test them mounting them both ways and/or maybe two of one side on the front and the rear on the va other way? TIA!
They were all mounted A-B. I genuinely can't see how it would make a difference. The amount of the directionality to the tread block is barely noticeable.
You should make your own tires call them Crawler Canyon "The Guys"
I wonder if there was any review that ended up on this stage 0:45?
We can always use the sticky inner to clean the dust off our desks 🤷♂️
“Some little thing right in between…” So… Ambivalent? 🤣
That tire wrap is for dragsters, not for crawlers. I will never use a Red tire, I really dont like that wrap
They get tied on 14th place with the RC4WD Interco IROK
Maybe you’re going too tight on the initial tightening…
Ooh, are we doing second guessing? I do love second guessing.

I tried to move them to another set of rims and gave up after about 20 minutes. Relative to how soft the compound is, these don't grip at all. They should go full vertical like a 25¢ sticky hand.
