The audio from the game is so real sounding. I had to de-immersify myself because I was so on-edge, thinking I was hearing noises in my house (headphones user)
It did feel like there was something missing from the game. While there was a story, it didn't fully feel like the gameplay meshed fully with it, being more of a "walk around until things change" situation combined with overdone jumpscares. The sound design was decent but was overall a bit rushed with too many sounds cues close together or overlapping. I think that the overall premise of a maniacal ghost entity causing people to spiral into insanity is a great idea. It might've worked even better if each episode was a different person being manipulated by the man in the top hat, in which the journalist is bringing all the stories together.
yeah, I feel like the story could have been told in bits and pieces instead of a dump at the end. or more atmospherically through out. it feels like they just found a bunch of spooky assets and said "yeah that's creepy! use that" and created a loose story idea that went with it
To me, the game seemed boring af. A walking simulator with so much jumpscares that they don't scare you after like a third one. The story sounds very familiar too. Could've been done so much better.
I haven't even played the other house games, just watched Gab play them, and I was finding this house so familiar! Also yes-I knew when a jump scare was coming, but I STILL jumped when it went off. 🤣

The creepy guy in the hat reminds me of the tall man in the hat from The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. Fantastic show and very scary/creepy especially the tall guy. Mike Flanagan did an excellent job

When I was little there was this fairly large doll that my Great grandmother had, which she just place on the rocking chair in her bedroom, thanks to her glass eyes, you can see them staring out to the hall from the dark.
When Gab was looking at the coffin, the scrapping sound happened, and she stared for a minute, and I swear to God we both said "okay" at the same time 🤣🤣
I made the mistake of starting this video while I was doing skin care... that first scare made me jump so bad I stabbed myself in my eye with my finger that was covered in moisturizer 😂😥 ouch Also I LOVEEE the Insidious movies. I actually really liked 3 surprisingly. I think it would have been even better if it were on its own. It doesn't really fit with the others well. But on its own I liked it a lot! The scene where the thing happens (no spoilers from me ) that causes her broken legs, I gasped SO loud and did not see coming at all!

Okay, I want to make up for a prior bad recommendation that I made (and then never request anything ever again because I feel so ashamed lol). I notice you made a video with 3 short games... Don't Scream is a short game, though there is some replay value because one can't experience everything it does in one sitting... at least i don't think so. I see a lot of Japanese streamers playing it, and judging from them, I almost know you'll appreciate it. Also, Wayforward are re-releasing Clock Tower 1 on modern consoles (called Clock Tower Rewind), so if you ever wanted to play that again it's coming this year. Physical pre-orders are already happening, but I think the full stop release is September 14th.

Ah, I'm the opposite when it comes to the Insidious movies. I like 3, but seriously disliked 5. It just lacked tension & scares for me & I found it to be kinda boring, tbh. (I completely skipped 4, lol.) The first two were absolutely amazing.
