An excellent way to quickly determine if you have a good polyline is to click on the polyline> click properties panel> misc> closed> yes or no. Yes, it will mean it is a closed polyline and no means you have a gap. I hope this makes sense! I've watched endless hours of this guy's videos. He is a great resource, and I wish to work with him.
