    Potentiometer Working Principle
    The potentiometer consists of L which is a long resistive wire and a battery of known EMF V whose voltage is known as driver cell voltage. Assume a primary circuit arrangement by connecting the two ends of L to the battery terminals. One end of the primary circuit is connected to the cell whose EMF E is to be measured and the other end is connected to galvanometer G. This circuit is assumed to be a secondary circuit. The working principle depends on the potential across any portion of the wire which is directly proportional to the length of the wire that has a uniform cross-sectional area and current flow is constant.

    Potentiometer
    Comparing emf of 2 cell formula
    E1/E2=L1/L2
    Where E1 E2 are emf of 2 cells and L1 L2 are length at which galvanometer shows zero deflection for each cell respectively.

    Another approach to find internal resistance:
    Directly use the equivalent emf formula and equate it to the potential drop across the null point .

    Note for my future reference :
    DONT YOU DARE GET CONFUSED !..NV sir ne jo tumhe sikhaya tha usne diagram upside down tha
    KIM : polarity of batteries par dhyan do ...agr woh ulti hui toh Point potential method won't work and Hume EMF or r nahi mil payega!
    Jis battery ki internal r find karni hoti hai ..uska EMF must be lower than given battery ka EMF (u know y) otherwise hume r nahi milegi
    This topic has 2 types of ques :
    Type 1 : jisme e ( of the battery jiska circuit galvanometer se juda hota hai ) nikalna hota hai!..just equate V ! At 9:27 u know what's V here! It's the EMF
    Type 2 : jisme r nikalni hoti hai!..toh hum Galvanometer se directly Jude circuit me ek R lagate hai parallel..aur ab is circuit me bhi i hota hai!...(ab yaha joh Naya V diff niklega na..usme tum...."V = EMF+ i r " ki jagah "V= iR" (R is joh nayi resistance parallel lagayi ) use Karo calc lengthy nahi hogi!!...kyoki parallel connection tha toh V diff at ends same hoga!..u buddhu question ko lengthy tum khud bana deti ho!..hota toh woh easy hai!
    Bas baki everything is badhiya!😁✨

      One more thing to add, jis battery ki internal r find karni hoti hai uska emf should be lower than the given battery emf because agr Aisa nhi hua toh null point nhi aayega potentiometer me.

    17:21 sir if you finding potential difference across AC, then why are you considering another further new points A and C and then finding it.
    Why aren't you finding it directly across A and C.
    So will be
    V(ac) = ( E × r ) / (r + R)
    Like the internal resistance (r) not (R) whuch you have used?
    Is this wrong
