- Today we have a TE-90 FLT in “orange blast” from Harley Benton. It’s a tele style guitar with HH configuration, 3-way switch, 1 volume & 1 tone control.
A bolt-on Canadian maple neck w/baked sungkai fingerboard. 22 medium jumbo frets w/black dot inlay.
Chambered sungkai body with satin orange blast finish. String-thru construction. WSC BG2002D bridge & die-cast kluson style tuners. Reverse headstock with matching satin orange blast finish. (2) Roswell FLT-B Filtertron humbuckers. Stomach contoured back cut. Single-ply black pickguard.

I love this guitar - i play mainly clean -but if it was good for AC/DC -should be good for you - plenty of clean headroom and cleans up fuzz well....tks for the demo
I'm in the market for a reverse headstock guitar and this one looks pretty good, specially with a belly cut for comfort. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
For sure. Thanks for checking out the video. We took it to the rehearsal space this weekend & played it thru my live rig at volume & it sounded AMAZING! Keep in mind that in this video I’m playing it right out of the box, into a very small Laney Ministack. It sounds much better thru a legit rig! 🤘🏼🎸

I have heard some stuff about the pick ups being microphonic. Have you experienced this?
@@Maoilios I believe that was an issues in the early years, but has now been resolved. I did not have any issues with mine. Love this guitar! Getting ready to buy another one!

@@Maoilios Thomann is selling at their 70 year anniversary for 103 euros, i ended up ordering my first guitar the cst 24 guitar kit, just a day before they put this flt 90 in sale, really sad on my end ahah

Too bad SLICK GUITARS MADE THIS GUITAR YRS.AGO.
Slick did do the same basic “carbonita” copy years ago with the SL55, but not only did they cost more than 4x the price, they were only doing one thing right & that was their distressed finishes…whereas HB has produced a budget priced guitar with attention paid to more of the all around build of the guitar, and even if given the opportunity to have free guitars from Slick, I’d rather pay to play an HB because it’s more of a players guitar. Whereas the Slick guitars were sloppy & still came with a higher price tag.
And it’s not as if they did anything that hadn’t already been done by fender, when they did make it. It’s basically just a carbonita with improvements…🤷♂️
