They are treated like Joel Miller is treated in "The Last of Us 2," or like Luke Skywalker in the Disney "Star Wars." Chloe in "Uncharted 2" was just the proto-Abby invention idea of Neil Druckmann. She was only an eye candy, plot device message, & not a good one. I think the Naughty Dog team decided to make 2 different story games with the characters. Many polls I see online show players liked U2 or U4 more than UDF or U3DD. They say UDF & U3DD is too cartoony, too hard to play, or too much like Indiana Jones style. I think if players play U2, U4, & Uncharted: Lost Legacy, then play Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, & Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception the games will make more sense.
He didn’t cheat on Elena, between Uncharted 1 and 2 when we see him with Chloe in Uncharted 2, him and Elena have broken up, as she introduces herself as “ last years model” her sarcastic way of saying she is his ex and that he is doing his adventures with this Indian-Australian lady and not her. However by the end of the game we know that Chloe knows that Nate’s heart is with Elena and not her, so she lets him go. They just remain friends and business associates for the rest of the franchise.

He didn’t cheat on Elena, between Uncharted 1 and 2 when we see him with Chloe in Uncharted 2, him and Elena have broken up, as she introduces herself as “ last years model” her sarcastic way of saying she is his ex and that he is doing his adventures with this Indian-Australian lady and not her. However by the end of the game we know that Chloe knows that Nate’s heart is with Elena and not her, so she lets him go. They just remain friends and business associates for the rest of the franchise.
