Went like 20-2 (normally horrific in WL) and had an absolute blast. It’s so different not playing against meta only players. Makes me want some type of WL with teams like this

Yeah bro, I learnt my lesson from going into elite division last year... the rewards aren't even really worth it either although in saying that I had a way more successful year in packing stuff than what I have this year... which is sad 😅

I feel like this is a change EA can add to the game. Make separate tiers like the weekend league (ex: tier 1: max 85 team, tier 2: max 88 team, tier 3: no restrictions) so at least we can use other players we get especially for those SBCs that they release wherein most of the players are already behind the power curve. Ngl, playing old cards from my club that are supposed to be club legends felt fun (even with the sweat lol) Welcome back my IF Araujo and IF Rodman!

On the other hand, if everyone plays in the 85/88 tier teams. People will stop spending $$$$$ on store packs to get crazy teams. Pay to win concept will die.

That's because ea are getting rid of playing with any other players bar the best ones so people buy more packs to try and get these cards

actually so many ppl left at 0:1 (including me) that I did the cup in one afternoon. Fun, even with bad gameplay. The card that carried me was Ledley King base. Amazing CB. I always leave certain players in the club, they dont go to SBC heaven and this time it paid of.

I like rating limit and golden goal logic both. Surely best cup so far. I'm also OK if my opponent doesnt do golden goal because the teams are actually fun and it feels alright to lose even its a bounce back, cutback goals i can just laugh it off

Even with the shocking gameplay EA show how easy it could be to help this game. Unlimited games and using different players made it way more playable than it’s been all year

This game without 88 plus rated cards is actually fairly decent from my experience.

Loved the mode. Its was so refreshing to watch people struggle without their broken players. I won 20 in 26 matches. More of this EA I get to griddy on the pay to win rats. Oh and I packed Voller and De ligt untradeable fantasy fut cards from the rewards. No WL for me
