Chhatbir Zoo, also known as Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park, is near Chandigarh in Bir village, close to Zirakpur-Chandigarh highway. It is an amazing picnic spot for kids and tourists.The zoo was constructed in the 1970s and is home to a large variety of birds, mammals and reptiles.
