this was the perfect end to my fishing day. kids were off of school so we went to a cove where the south wind has been blowing in for 4 days post cold front. had a cast net throw catch about 60 shad, so no bait issues. My 8yr old daughter caught an 8lb blue and right as we were leaving my 6yr son got a 20. still riding high. now sipping a whiskey and enjoying the vid before dinner.

Little suggestion, I kmow it's going to cost you a little, and it's going to add a little weight to your load on the times you carry the genset.
If you'll upgrade to a 12 gauge extension cord of the usual length that you normally use,it'll do several things for you.
It'll cut down on how long that it takes to charge the batteries, it'll make it much better on your charging system, and it'll make it a lot easier in your generator, because it'll lower the run time, and make it easier on the generator side too.
Lowering the amperage lost because of the light weight wires on the little extension cord.

Went down to a local spot with and threw some chub heads around some log jams. Wasn’t even 10 minutes and the reel went bzzzz. You know the drill. 3 nice channels, 2 and a half hours of fishing. Not bad if I say so myself. Thanks for the tips man.
