  • Hi Friends, I am pretty sure we are back to normal for uploading again, I think, lol! Thank for visiting us on the farm today!
    Freeze Eggs
Oil, spray tin, teflon or silicone pan.
lightly wish an egg and put in the tin
Freeze for at least an hour. Then take a knife and take out the egg. I stack them in a plastic bag and take out when needed.
    Texas Sheet Cake Cookies
One box of chocolate cake mix
    2 eggs
    1/3 cup oil
Stir the three ingredients together and make into balls.
    makes 16 to 20 balls
bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes. Do not overbake
Cool for 4 to 5 minutes then frost them
    Texas Sheet Cake Cooking Icing
    Melt 1/4 cup butter and 1 1/2 T milk
Stir into 1 1/2 cocoa and 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
    drizzle on top and enjoy!

Thank you for showing and sharing - the cookies look amazing and freezing eggs made easy. I’ve made white and lemon cake mix for cookies but never chocolate. Looking forward to trying.

YUM!!!! I will make these!! Audrey Ann, have you ever used the Water Glassing method of preserving eggs in the shell? This is how our ancestors did it in crocks and some homesteaders still do it. If you find an antique crock with a white residue inside, it's one reason for it. So happy to see your new video!!

Hi Ann, first of all thanks for watching and commenting! I have not used the water glassing method but I have a few friends that did. Honestly, Dave and I are old homesteaders from way back in different ways. We have raised our own beef, chicken, turkeys, and all the vegetables. I just don't share much of that because there's so much out there. ....but like this video I will share tidbits now and then. Thanks again! Enjoy your day!
