Kendra is such a liar and she has the audacity to tell people they're lying. Lol. The podcast is fire.
The problem w kendra is she’s self centered. If it didn’t happen TO her, then it’s a lie. Everybody else’s experience can’t possibly be true, because SHE didn’t experience it. It’s narcissistic and self centered thinking. I’m not surprised, based off her mother. She’s very much like her mother, down to the laugh. Kendra thought the sun rose and set on her ass, and it showed. It was made worse by the GND producers clearly trying to make it “the Kendra show.” So after it was over, I think she still needed to be center of attention, so she did it by calling everyone else’s experiences a lie.
you should try to get bridget and holly on your podcast since they are coming out with one of their own recapping the show
love them...but, you know, I also love Kendra--even watched her show with husband and kid in Cleveland (or somewhere)

She seems to no longer want to be associated with GND and I think its simply because of Holly & Bridget because they know her on another level and they know how shady she was during her years in the mansion.
Holly never threw her under the bus the way Kendra did to her...#teamhollyandbridget
GND definitely propelled Playboy into relevance again, until the three girls left. It was all downhill from there.
I read both her and Holly's books, I remember why she explained why she lied her way in. She supposedly was told not to tell Hef she was a stripper, to tell him she was in college because that sounded better. So she was basically following a script in order to become a girlfriend and possibly get into the magazine.
As he was somebody who came from the old retro styled era and contributed to the aesthetic of old Hollywood, I never understood why Hef hated red lip stick. It's such a classic and it's sad that for a brief period of time in the 1990s and early 2000s it was considered out of style.
I think it had something to do with a woman rejecting him in his younger years.

I doubt it was about the lipstick. Men like him feel the need to keep their women insecure or they'll leave. I bet she looked fantastic and he didn't want her knowing that.
that show really helped rebuild Playboy $$--they went downhill with the women's movement--I am a HUGE feminist and even I watched every episode!!!!! My 5th grade Spanish teacher was a Playboy bunny

I think holly said in a youtube video or interview that it did have something to do with taxes that he rented...I think he wanted to eventually buy it when he was younger but it was a better option for the estate to own and hef to rent...holly did say it had something to do with taxes

Wait till Revenge about Markle! Americans will finally have their eyes opened to what she’s been up too. There’s a lot not in there but he’s a lawyer so was very careful & a lot is worded in a way that unless you know to see through her PR BS , that there’s a lot of reading between the lines which those who haven’t been following will miss unfortunately.

I take this one VERY personally because what she & her “people” (handlers) are trying to bring down the Royal Family hence the government of the UK & the 15 countries like mine who have the queen at the head. It would also affect our legal system.
It would be like someone trying to turn the US into a communist country.
Her saving the poor blonde 18 yr old stripper from the streets. How nice of him. Kendra was taking classes for massage in the beginning. They showed her going to the classes anyway. It is weird that he rented the house. I never found it so great. Its so run down. It doesn't even have comforable living space. It looks like one big foyer. Whoever gets it will need to do alot of work.
Holly pushed Hugh to paint, get knew carpet and new gym equipment. She did the same at her job.

Yes!! Was looking for any comments about this. They did not speak negatively about Kendra at all. The producers were creating characters and storylines. Kendra was on Juicy Scoop a few months ago and her vibe was so off. She’s been through a lot in her personal life for sure but usually she was high energy and upbeat (at least it seemed so ), maybe she’s going through a rough patch again.
I can’t imagine doing boom boom in the bedroom with hef…. But I can totally relate to being young, naive and making decisions hindsight you’d never make due to being naive

Rich people that own corporations, like Hefner with playboy, put their homes in the business name to rent them back to create a huge tax write off for themselves. That’s the only reason I would think he did not technically own the home in his own name.

Kendra always seems very self centred. When holly book came out she was quick to accuse holly of lying and making things up. But the new series where all the old girls come out and say how it really was shows hilly was telling the truth. And has every right to. Proves she just never liked holly.just cause what happened didn't bother her. Kendra Should watch how she lies just to bad mouth someone. Not surprised she has always been of bad character and selfish
Holly is still using Hef and the Playboy Mansion to get attention and Publicity. Kendra has moved on and she has a new show called Kendra Sells Hollywood. Kendra is now a Real Estate Agent at a very high class Real Estate Firm. Holly needs to just STFU and leave Kendra alone. I think it's time for 42 year old Holly to get a real JOB.
I always disliked Kendra for some reason and with everything that’s come out it in the past few years it all adds up.

Did anyone watch holly channel & change their perspective on the show and them … And even go back and watch GND cause lemme tell you I went from Kendra being my fav to me questioning her cause honestly she was little bit of bully towards Fem type girls and how she only like athletic ones .. But Bridget as was my next pick but switch to Her being my first cause she was same to me as child and adult now

I have legit PTSD from that PB documentary.
I remember hearing about that he didn’t technically on the mansion but really, it’s all to do with taxes and just ways to write off the cost, etc. even though it Playboy owned it by extension he is the founder and essentially owner of playboy so it’s more just put in the companies name for tax write off reasons but for all intents and purposes he owns the mansion or should I say owned but a lot of people will have it under their company or LLCs, etc. for just many different reasons, liability insurance, a lot of times, tax reasons, etc.

Kendra I think imo was very used to getting her way and didn’t care about anyone’s feelings what so ever, that rolled over into her marriage to hank which in turn made him cover up lies and walk on egg shells around her because he knew she would judge him and basically he couldn’t be himself and that totally blew their marriage up and she couldn’t handle it when the news came out but in turn she did profit off it when it was on her show Kendra on top. Her new show definitely shows how much trauma her last relationships caused her to which now it shows on her face how scared she is to fail and bomb her real estate career. She needs to sit down and really think about what she wants to do as the whole I’m doing it for my kids now is guna cause her to spiral out of control because she’s guna blame herself when real estate doesn’t work out for her, I literally got anxiety and felt her nervousness for even thinking about failing it’s so sad but life is what you create and she definitely needs to stop caring what people say and keep going even if it doesn’t work out. It’s crazy to see how far gone she is now a days and cried a lot over anything and whoa is me or I can’t do this it’s hard to watch honestly I wanna just shake her and say quit feeling sorry for yourself and get some confidence in what you do and stop worrying. She didn’t want ti become her mom and that’s exactly who she is today

It seems to me that Holly and Bridgette have become BFFs but Kendra is even distant to Bridgette, so maybe there's a rift there.
Wouldn’t renting rooms for Heff just be a tax thing for Playboy Enterprise which was always run by his oldest daughter?
As to the difference in celebrity payments, the magazine industry isn’t what it was. With the internet I’m sure sales are right down. There just isn’t the money around any more.

I lived a few blocks from the huge Playboy mansion in Chicago when they closed it--I think that was Heff's first one and his main office
I always found Kendra so damn annoying, like a total pick me girl. It makes sense why she didn’t get along with Bridget and Holly. Bridget always seemed like a total sweetheart and down to earth. If you don’t get along with someone like that then that says a lot about you.

yes it was "girls next door". its how hef used to describe the type of girl he was looking to have represent playboy. pretty, fresh faced, traditional "all american" modest demure-ish, almost untouchable but still sort of within reach, not too much, not extra, simple. so the name of the show was a play on that. holly, bridget, kendra were literally the girls next door.

There are so many different stories going around is Heff owned the mansion while they were filming and while he had the three girlfriends. I heard that after the girlfriends left and he got older that’s when he sold his mansion and he was renting until he passed away this is what I heard from many insiders. But who knows. Also Holly even said while they were girlfriends half would give them $1000 a week allowance so that doesn’t make sense if they had to pay rent for their rooms
Kind of….he was renting the mansion from the get go I believe. There was some kind of deal made where he got to stay there for as long as he was alive, but he never owned it, and therefore, never had the rights to sell it. Playboy enterprise owned it. I don’t know if this deal to live there until death was made w playboy enterprise or if playboy enterprise sold it to someone else with the deal of hef living there until death.
