The way I see it, Walter died a proud father, happy to see their adoptive child found someone they chose to fight for. 🫡 Plus, the bastards responsible for his re-education were reduced to charred smoldering metal. 😤
At least Walter found some Joy at the end. . . knowing that his Hound had a Coral Waifu to bond with, giving Walter a glimpse of hope. The only time he found out Coral has sentience.
you can choose which normal ending. either: 1. kill your best friend, witness the destruction of everything in the star system, and die in the process or 2. betray your handler who helped you countless times, kill him, all because of coral mommy who called us stud muffin who probably doesn't exist and is just our heads
The siding with Ayre ending sucks with the death of Walter, buuut it also doesn't involve a xenocide and a genocide. Cause igniting the coral destroys it and fucking annihilates all life in the Rubicon system.
@@Servellion you did not pay attention on how quickly the coral can spread across the whole UNIVERSE, how it can control machinery capable of mass destruction even without a host, and how it tries to manipulates its host at every given opportunity, gets extremely frustrated when it fails like a spoiled child and throws a tantrum, so yeah, burn it, burn it all, not only for humanity's sake, but for the WHOLE FREAKING UNIVERSE'S SAKE, what is a star system compared to the universe's safety? Feed the fire, let the last cinders burn, Ayre simp, Rubiconians(coral) are worst than V.II Snail or G5 Iguazu, the RLF are a bunch of mentally challenged junkies and the "cruelest" choice at first is the best for the universe in the long-term, even if that means we become known as "The Monster Who Burned The Stars"
@@PabloHenrique92parasitic in what way? The only negative effect coral has on people is when it’s forcibly augmented into them to allow better piloting of ACs. Every other case is humanity using coral as a weapon, fuel source, or a drug apparently.

I wish my brain could even fundamentally process information using neurolinguistic syntax like yours. And that's no shade, I'm downright jealous! I can't imagine the type of threshold divergent thinking you experience with the lines so naturally blurred, with no issue on your part keeping the train rolling. I hat this ending Why it exists in first place . . . . . . . . . . Really hate that 621 can't help Walther. Hate that we can't have ceremony for Walther. Hate that we can't bring Walther with us. I really hate this ending it make me cry
I hate all of the endings, Rusty and Walter are dead, and i don't really care of Ayre. Rusty and Waltuh is the buddy and dad i never had and Ayre is the waifu that never existed
From that moment on, I questioned myself if I should still listen to my alien telepathic waifu
She's not the one who made walter like this tho

Ayre exists, and its a parasitic alien lifeform, and a pretty good one at that, because she is able to manipulate its host's mind(try, at least)

Walter's death sucks, but shit, at least I'm not killing an entire star system with its last surviving native inhabitants, who use coral to live.

@@Vytius Yeah each ending is real bad in their own ways. I think that was the point of this tragic story.
