But the truth is who is going to scrutinize your bag like this. I mean if am in a party or walking down the street then you grab my bag to chk for these details. I judge the real and the fake by looking at who is carrying the *esluxs* . If they dress the part then it must be real. What can I say.
Every time I think one of your videos is just for new resellers … I’m absolutely over here with a pencil & paper taking notes 🙌🏻 i literally learn so many new things from every video you put out! ❤ thank you Rachel! Level up ❤
Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxs* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.
Many photographers prefer bright but overcast days for the diffused light when taking photos outdoors. It's like the diffusers pro photographers put on their studio lighting. Also calibrating your camera white balance would clean up the yellow and gray cast your photos have
WOW!! This was fantastic information for taking photos Thank you for taking the time to share all the great ways on how to Level Up our photography game
Level up! This video was so informative!!! You really went the extra mile for us and pointed out the differences. I have extremely low light in my house and being outside is not always an option. I so needed these tips.
Luv your videos! I remember when I was going through all of that lighting stuff, now, I finally have a studio, so everything is built in place and all I have to do is step into the studio and begin, but before that oh my goodness. absolutely a great video, thank you for sharing
Level up You do such a great job on researching these videos. I love my big lightbox so much that I bought a mini, travel size one for the road. If I buy smaller items (up to a small hand bag size), I simply set it up in a hotel room, in the trunk, at a restaurant, etc and within minutes I have a listing with great photos.
Level up! Great content as usual, Rachel. I've been photographing for a few decades now, first with Minolta 35mm film cameras, then with Nikon DSLRs and I'd like to make one small suggestion. Bright sunny days are actually awful days to take pictures outside. You end up with harsh shadows on your subject. The best weather is light cloud cover, to diffuse the light, or in indirect or reflected sunlight. A sunroom or a porch would be great.
Level up! I never knew that a photo box would make such a difference. You provided so much good information in this video, and motivated me to make some changes in my small space. Thank you for sharing what you've already learned.
I’ve always used a daylight bulb on an overhead lamp inside when doing product photography . I also try to do it near a big window that has good natural light coming through it.
Level Up!! Thanks for the great video! I appreciate you breaking everything down and showing us each one! I've really needed help with my lighting so this video was perfect for me!
I have been using a thrifted white bed sheet and a cardboard box construction project but it might be time to level up. Thanks for your many fun and helpful videos.
Wow Rachel!!! This video is awesome and so informative. This must have taken so much time to put together for everyone to learn photography tricks. I'm not new to reselling and I learned a lot from watching this. Thank you ❤
LEVEL UP!!! Thank you so much for the great info. I am just getting started on eBay and have drafts created but no photos yet. Again, thank you for the gold mine of information.
Well Rachel you sure took it to the next level, I love this video tons of great information! I want to LEVEL UP my photos and with this equipment It will definitely help me to start my business and treat it like my business. Thank you for your lovely video I enjoy your energy! Manuela
Thank you so much for sharing about the light that attaches to the phone. I wanted a quick setup option upstairs for when I want to take photos of small things that could get mixed up like flatware. I do my drafts upstairs so I could do the draft on the particular style of flatware take the picture and bag it up before taking it to the basement so I don't have to worry about remembering which flatware is which. The only reason I haven't done that yet is because I didn't have any space for lights. I already use foam core for my photos so I can just have another set up like that upstairs with the phone light.
Appreciate you! 8 months in full time and just hit Top Rated Seller status. Have learned some incredibly important and useful information from your videos so, seriously, thank you so much! ~ LuckyLibby’s🍀
Haha. I've been using that trifold background for a couple years now. My setup is a white tablecloth with the trifold background. I take the photos at a high resolution, then do a quick crop. Boom.
Might have already been said but if you can't imagine a 1:1 in a 3:4 on android, you can put grid lines on the camera in advance settings. Center your object best you can in and around the middle square of the grid, and it will convert to the 1:1 on the platform perfectly and saves time editing.❤
All good ideas.I sold $245,000 on Ebay alone in 2023 using simple, almost free equipment. I use 2 pieces of foam board as a backdrop. I use a 12" ring light but I prop it on its side to bring it level with smaller items. As a second method I can hold the tripod portion of the ring light and move the ring light partially overhead to change the glare spots...and eliminate them if I'm having a good day. (Imagine a boom except my arm and hand are the boom.). I found your research on the red dress interesting. All pictures were full body or mannequins. I wonder if that matters?
Level up Yes I love the foam board / trifold thing, but I'm pretty rough on mine they get all dinged up quickly in my place. I take photos in my laundry room, setting it all up on my washing machine. Problem is when I went to do laundry well, had to take it down, put it back up....but now when it got down to 17 degrees this winter some pipe burst under my washer so can't use it now till I get it checked. And, um sales not great so no extra $ for that. Ugh...I've always hated going to laundry mats. I think I have to go again tomorrow been 2 weeks. I also slung a white sheet over my door and then hung a door hanger on it and hang my clothes off that...its not the best, but I have really liked the white out background thing...works MOST of the time, sometimes ehhh no...I kind of do a little prayer as its working...please do it right (hehe).

Awesome work!
You can also take a piece of white fabric and drape it over the board behind it to get rid of that seam line between the bottom board and the poster.
what a great idea
Another great tip is to use a white canvas boards ❤
