I think one of my favorite parts is how each octo in the retro choir is animated differently.
One is stretched at the corner
One is wiggly from the top
One is dealing with grow & shrink
One is literally just being dragged around.

I personally see it as different forms of transformations, but then again, I don't know the actual names for the streches, or if they are accepted as a classification of transformation, so....
Besides, this is a way better description.

@@Leekodot15 I have the same issue and have to deal with grow and shrink all of the time... My doctor says that all I need to do is stay away from chairs and russian dancers but I just can't control it anymore...

I was not expecting that Octoling in the gameboy (or something) at 1:06 to be animated in full.
That was my favorite part! It was also the most TEDIOUS part, but it was worth it :)

i’ve always thought of this song as the sanitized octarians and octolings screaming for help by disguising it as something that sounds cheerful, and the song is dedf1sh’s way of getting that message across and warning the other test subjects. idk i’ve always thought this was a really unsettling song for some reason

Acht never made an appearance in game but they go by dedf1sh in octo expansion and made most of the music you hear in the deepsea metro. They had a bit of official art at the time but were mostly unknown until Side Order. @CasualTheEvil

This is heavily well made and entertaining and so many characters moving around in the background. The GBAM characters are a nice touch, one of my personal favorite songs from the switch Splatoon 2 OST.
Im always amazed with the precision of the moves with each single instrument. So smooth and thats a lot of work behind that so good job.

this is a perfect rendition of the song, the amount of effort you put into making this must have tooken months! i like how in the first part it seems calm and neutral with only a few monsters popping up... and then more... and even more... and oh my gosh its the entirety of the stormtrooper army! i always thought that this song would've been sang by marina when she wasn't converted, but now that i think about it would've made more sense to have it composed by various different octolings and enemies, since this song is so incredibly upbeat and uses so many instruments and we definitely know that the octoling army is more than what we can comprehend it makes sense to use those enemies. i also like how agent 8 and... agent 8? are both covering their ears because of how loud and annoying the song is to them, thats not to say the song is bad, its definitely catchy.
