- Chris Caso, Wolfe Research senior analyst, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss news of Nvidia's 10-for-1 stock split, how much the company is worth, AI competition, and more.
I read that Nvidia provides tech for crypto mining services/blockchain transactions. Could the current crypto pump be attributed to Nvidia’s great earnings and should I hold some crypto as well, cos tbh I’m having FOMO with the current crypto price at 64k.
Microstrategy CEO bought $155million worth of bitcoin, so yes BUY!
It’s going to be a wild year for these sectors, so you should def. invest in crypto. 60% of my portfolio is spread across tech stocks, crypto and Crypto/Gold ETFs.
well the crypto market is expected to do way better than any other equity sectors this 2024 especially with the SEC crypto ETF approval but it’s a volatile market nevertheless and if you’re new to it, it’s best to reach out to an experienced adviser for proper guidance.
Yes, my asset manager advised I spread further into mutual funds and crypto Etf and boy am I glad I did. The whole idea is: Don’t get too greedy and also to exit at the right time, so generally I do find having an adviser very helpful, because what Avg. Joe really has time to watch and comprehensively analyse the market.
could you recommend some good advisers? don’t get me wrong, I already have an asset manager, but he seems not to know much about crypto.
I have 89k I want to invest in NVIDIA and some other stocks that have AI potential. How do I get started?
It's not that hard to get started, or you could ask a financial advisor for help if you are not very good with investing.
I agree a financial advisor could make a lot of difference in your portfolio. That is how I have made more than 200% from NVIDIA this year.
Please can I ask who you work with? I would like to switch to a financial advisor but I'm not sure how to get started.
Sharon Lynne Hart is the licensed advisor I use. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with her to set up an appointment.
Thank you for this. I'll reach out to her, and I hope I'm able to make something out of it.
I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. I'm looking at NVIDIA and other AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
I bought into NVIDIA around September last year because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.
That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trend that is difficult for the untrained eyes to see.
That's a great tip. I'm setting out 50k to invest in the market this year. Any particularly useful tips you could offer to me?

I feel It's getting harder to satisfy Wall Street. The market has gotten so unpredictable post covid.
No disrespect but you are wrong... Believe it or not, the market isn't as bad as some people have made it look... Companies are making record profits... In all honesty, as a beginner investor who knows next to nothing, I have made over $15k net profit in a few months... I was retrenched recently, and I am using these resources to keep body and soul together that I want.
Hi Mr.Anthony, your profit margin is quite impressive for a beginner. can you share your spreadsheet or trading journal? thanks if you reply.
I have never drawn up a spreadsheet, it's of no relevance to me... I simply follow Kelly Matwick's investing guidance.... You can look her up she's a registered advisor.
@@ANTHONY_esq GOOD FOR YOU!!! Congrats & Good Luck!!!! I want body & soul together too.. spend so much of my time focusing on that... Honestly tho inadvertently i made $$$ because of it (at least it feels like that was the reason because it always felt like the Universe guided me towards great investments when I knew nothing.. there is no other explanation.) I have learned a lot since then but still in the beginning it's like i just knew..altho as i said i knew nothing!!!! I do now.. I did 10 years of homework on it..But after a big brokerage co gaslit me.. like wouldn't let up... like i was insane & because i knew nothing i caved.. & sold a boatload of facebook at $27. That was it for me I started reading non stop.. all the while believing in the power of the Universe.. not sleezy brokers & not charts they use.. I listen to my intuition.. All the best to you!!
Traders have ruined retail investors.
One question please! Is NVIDIA a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%.
I've always advised the lnvestors i know to exercise caution when it comes to new buys, especially right now. Its best you thread the market with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel if you dont know where to look.
I deal with an investment advisor for this reason. I currently have over $800k invested in a diversified portfolio that has grown exponentially and is suitable for all market seasons. Our current project for this year is a more concrete ballpark target.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?

AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.
I agree, just because the market presents opportunities doesn't mean we should rush in headfirst. For this reason, we should look for appropriate market analysis or guidance or, alternatively, seek advice from certified market strategists.
No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q3 2024.
Can you share details of your advisor? I want to invest my increased cash flow in stocks and alternative assets to achieve financial goals.
MICHELE KATHERINE SINGH is who i work with and she is a hot topic even among financial elitist in California. Just browse, you’d find her, thank me later.
I appreciate this. After curiously searching her name online and reviewing her credentials, I'm quite impressed. I've contacted her as I could use all the help I can get. A call has been scheduled.
Tech stocks like Nvidia are like hidden gems for boosting your income. People often overlook them, but man, they shouldn't! These tech giants are where it's at for serious growth potential. So yeah, if you're looking to beef up your portfolio, don't sleep on those tech stocks.
You’d think that investing in this economy is a hell at times for the average person that wants full control of their finances, Even investing in ETF stocks can be risky
The question to be asked at times is not if the government or the economy is responsible for the sudden dramatic shifts in the economy but if we are taking the necessary measures to avoid making losses no matter the situation even if the pay roll is not in your favor.
One of the reasons i follow up these stock videos is to improve the returns of my investments and i can’t really say I’ve been seeing noticeable change though …. I’ll keep following to improve my investment philosophy anyway
What measures would you consider then to better stock investments? What you should be thinking about is where you’re gonna put the money you have in your bank.
At times not just creating smart investments but buying assets can improve your profit margins in the long run.
Thank you again Joe, for taking 30 seconds of my time to ask a question that can be asked in less than 10.
time to retire that guy.
it has already been to 1250$. That is not a valid '"Target" now. The Target is more like $500 now after the split!
Nvidia has a PE of about 100. It is growing income at 350% per year. That alone makes it still a bargain. Then you add on the fact that it is launching a new, double-priced replacement(Blackwell) for it's current best selling product in a few months. On top of that, you have almost all major companies basically bragging to their own shareholders about how much they are spending on AI/Nvidia. Basically if you want to tank your own stock, tell your shareholders you are not buying AI chips. Nvidia has another 2-3 years left before you even have to look at it again, it should double again in 2024, and double once more in 2025. When this stock hits $350 is when you have to reevaluate what is going on. Are major companies still talking about future orders? Are they crushing any real competitors? Are profit margins still above 50%? All of those major questions are almost certainly Yes's for the next 2 years.
100% agree yet these WS MBA-atons must say something. right ?I laugh at their need to create uncertainty when there is very little
Nvda dipping right now post split
@@xfall86 Yes, it is now only up 250% for the year rather than 251%

UA-cam really needs to clean up these bots omg
Why is it whenever a company does real well there's always someone who comes on social media and bashes them?
Absolutely true!!!... Imo usually because they missed it when it was trading for dirt cheap & they want to hype their own stocks.. (most you tubers) The one's who get tech & invested back when.. never do that (like Fired Up wealth & Ticker symbol O) They both been investing & know tech so well... & love Nvdia & would never waste their time bashing a co)
Lets wait until the end of this month and than see what the price does 😊
I like TSM!
Both NVDA and AMD have their state of the art chips produced by Taiwan Semiconductor. Between Apple and NVDA, TSM's 2N and 3N capacity is already committed. For AMD to be a viable competitor for NVDA, they will need to have either TSM or Samsung Semiconductor produce them over the next 2 - 3 years.
would it be a bad idea to own both nvidia and amd?
Bet all the horses in the race. Just don't bet equal amount.
@@user-ll9qk2el4d I see. I’ll have to figure out which one gets the bigger bet haha
@@GamingDaily Wager less on the horse with the larger behind. 🤣
Some investors own NVDA, AMD & TSM.
stock is up so far, almost 122 a share ;)
AI and EV sectors Surging this Summer. ? FSRN.. Fisker. In negotiations for in June. Nvidia... SoundHound.. Polestar.. Joby Evtol Jets...Blink Charging and more.
I think this is Nvidia second stock split right
its like its 6th
Yes, 2nd since 2021 (I've owned it since 2013)
@@ok2tmtsg nice I picked it up back in 2011. we are happy shareholders!!
Nvidia is worth 10T because of CUDA-Q. Integrating AI with Quantum Computing will eventually be HUGE.
sure Amd is doing well & a good co.. (doing well tho because of Nvdia imo) & c'mon how can they or any chip co compete w/o Jensen Huang... I didn't just jump on this bandwagon.. but been following Nvdia listening to him for almost a decade & really i saw it then when everyone said it was an overpriced gaming chip co at $300 & see it much more now.. I mean imo u got to be blind or worrying about charts not to see it!!! The man is an amazing genius.. a visionary who saw this about 15 years ago. Who else can say that? You name one co.!!!
It helped me improve my trading skills immensely. Can you do a tutorial on how to use Fibonacci retracements?🏧

3:20 what a bumbling stumbling deflection to the CAGR question. Don’t these guests get to see the questions before the interview? Did the guy have no idea he was going to get asked this question? Total deer in headlights.
amd: 162, Nvdia: 122 this is a no brainer.
Own it and the SMH 😁☀️👍🤓
horrifying
Nvidia is like the bank I always wanted! Nvidia is the PEOPLES' BANK!! I realized yesterday if we all just keep buying and selling Nvidia only and they keep doing splits we will all get rich and Nvidia could actually replace the dollar😂😂😂😂
the interviewer is scared shitless 😂
Wait til after WW3
What is with all these bots recommending financial advisors in the comments?

Why he can't talk normally??*
Can’t believe he replaced NVIDEA with AMD as a top pick.
I can. AI pie will split between different corporations. Plenty of them already have its own chips
@@jakejoyride Neither can I..!!!
Ceo is selling off
It was a preplanned move. He's not selling because of fundamentals. The stock hit a predetermined criteria, and it sold off.

@@darrellshirar4411 you obviouslly have no understanding of the market. How foolish
😂😂😂😂
AMD? Yeah naa… I’d rather buy Nvidia mainly because it’s years ahead of Amd/its competition.
Well, if you truly think AMD will catch up then you know it's a huge growth. Then you should be in by now, because that growth will make you a millionaire.
@@hencytjoe AMD already has growth priced in. Have you seen it's P/E ratio Trailing? its 3-4 times higher than Nvidias while also growing at a slower pace
Today, Joe, you and McCarthy give yourselves a break...reality you are down by 6 and with lose by 8 points. Big Money America cannot buy the election anymore.
Foolish take on AMD. Customers of AMD's CPUs back then when they were a generation behind Intel were tribalistic "team red" individuals. Customers of AI chips are huge, billion-dollar-spend corporations who need performance. They aren't as emotional.
NVDA is a sucker's bet.
My NVDA bet has served me well - owned it since 2013 at the cost of $3k (now worth >$1.5M)
I missed out on META when it split. I made sure not to miss NVDA.
This is such a poorly executed interview. Joe is always a Debbie downer and negative when it’s clear he’s jealous of not buying more.
They would rather buy AMD, in "HOPE" of it taking more market share from NVIDIA. They are not buying NVIDIA, which has already taken a lot of martketshare from AMD, Intel, and so on. Not a very intelligent investment decision if you are buying AMD now. NVIDIA has many years to grow at a fast pace.. I personally think for myself, that I should buy NVIDIA, rather than any other company!
wtf do you mean they've taken marketshare from AMD? NVDA is the enabler and dominates.... they have no other market share to gain, and everything to lose at this point.
It's AMD's for the taking.
Cue INTC vs AMD in the CPU data center space and how AMD has taken close to 30% market share in less than a decade...
nVidia is playing 3D Chess ♟️ while we are still learning the rules 💚🖤📈🇺🇸
You are following the herd to lose all your money. lol
@@eh7599 There's always the "sell" button. "Lose all your money" is a little dramatic.
