      No, Chromatography works on the principle that different compounds will have different solubilities and adsorption to the two phases between which they are to be "partitioned".

      @@FoodTech360 Basic principle of chromatography is based on partition coefficient. You have mentioned TLC. Still some doubt regarding that. No issues. I will check it out.
