First of all- Jonathan is perfection! Second: Lucky is such an amazing example of how fathers should show up for their children. Listening, affirming, asking if they’re ok with being hugged ❤️ absolutely beautiful
I loved this scene between Aiden and Lucky it brought tears to my eyes! So many kids and people live their lives in fear hiding who they are and when they can open up and be loved and accepted by their parents and others it's so amazing beautiful sweet! I did at first feel this new Aiden looked older to be Aiden but I am really liking him and he is a great actor and great addition to GH
I'm so darn happy with having Jonathan back on General Hospital, he's an excellent actor, has a beautiful voice, handsome, and how he excepted his son of being gay. Lucky hit it out of the ball park with his response, this scene was beautifully done. Made me cry. 😭❤

I needed more reaction from the actor that played Aiden. The hug helped. But Mr. Jackson was superb! So good! Glad Lucky is back.
Lucky Handled That Very Well! He probably didn't even finish handling the information before reassuring Aiden, because his son was his priority! Natalia could learn a thing or 2 from Him and Liz!
I'm so glad that my Dad reacted similarly when I came out to him. Both of my parents gave me nothing but love and support all of my life and I miss them both so much.
Someone else mentioned it, but wouldn't be cool if Anthony Geary came back to GH to have a scene with JJ like in a dream or something (since they killed off Luke). I would love to see them together onscreen again.
Jonathan bringing love right out of his soul and using it to bring a scene to life. What a beautiful person he is, he truly elevates everything he touches.

1) Both Jonathan and Becky haven't aged a day since the last time they were onscreen together. 2) I'm so glad JJ is back 😭 JJs Lucky is one of my favorite soap characters of all the 3) I hate that Lucky has been MIA in Aiden's life but I loved this scene!
I came out at 15 in 1995 in KY of all places! Terrified that my Dad would disown me, but I've always been overly confident & opinionated so I had to get it off my chest asap! I knew at the age of 6 so I had already been hiding it for a long time. My father was the absolute best! He told me that he would always love me and that he was so proud of my standing in my truth. He ended up treating me like he treated my sister when it came to dating. All the boys had to come to the front door to pick me up. No honking. My entire family was a blessing! Even my extended family accepted me. I was so lucky and I never take that for granted. Sadly, my family all passed away in my early 30's leaving me to navigate this new scary world alone, but boy did they teach me how to stand proud, to be honest, and to spread as much love around the world as possible. I hope I am making them proud!
I am so glad they are having Lucky admitted and deal with the fact he abandoned his family at some point I hope they will let him see Cam and Jake as well and speak to them the same way
I love Lucky taking responsibility when he said "no excuses." Lucky always struck me as a character who would be/was a loving, engaged father. It didn't fit with the character that he was an absentee father 4 a bit (Though I do get that's the nature of soaps when a character/actor leaves the show).
What an incredible scene! I am not gay neither is my kid but as a parent it is very important to me that he knows he is truly loved and cared for regardless of where he is in life. ❤
I loved it when Jason came back and gotten to know his son's,. and now I'm glad Lucky back getting to know his son and except that Aiden is gay and didn't push him away.... like most parents do to there kids, when they tell them they're gay.
This scene reminds me of myself. When I told my parents at age 15 that I am gay. Coming from a Latino family and my father whom served in Cuba’s military under Batista i thought things were going to be bad on so many levels. But it didn’t, it was quite the opposite, of course it took them a minute but at the end I was excepted. However I am probably one of the lucky ones with parents that love you regardless. Not all teenagers now days are excepted by their parents or families. They usually get thrown out and end up on the streets homeless. This is why now days you see it on television and movies. The soap operas were the first ones to incorporate the subject matter to television.
Ryan Phillippe spoke those exact lines, “Dad, I’m gay,” as Billy Douglas to his TV dad in a groundbreaking storyline on OLTL in 1992. Glad to see GH doing this.
@ambergerber5162 True, but sadly... that was the more likely response by suburban parents in those days. It would've been less believable for him to have been accepting then. Today, Lucky would be seen as the bad guy if were anything but loving and supportive. Thank God we've gotten to the point where that has flipped.
This was exactly what I figured it would be. Plus, they already did the opposite (to the point of nauseum) with Natalia. Nobody needed to see the 2.0 of that...

❤ Very nice for Lucky to meet his teenage son. Of course Lucky would accept his son's gay statement. Yet knowing GH, it will probably be watered down just like Lucas, Brad, Felix, Christiana and Terri. Been watching since 1984 in coastal Mississippi 👋
Jonathan Jackson is honestly one of the finest actors I have seen, and we have seen this since he was a young kid. I am not crazy about the way he has been written over the years, but he definitely knocked this scene out of the park!
This scene made me cry. All he said was true and this has to be one of Jonathan Jackson's best scenes ever. So happy he is back. I hope he stays for a while.

As someone who was hotly upset over the fact that Lucky NEVER played a part in his sons' lives, him apologizing now is a good start for me to begin liking the character again. I was fearing that Jake and Aiden were going to become the male versions of Maxie and Georgie somehow since their father didn't play a part in their lives ( Frisco couldn't even be bothered to come to his daughter's funeral or the funeral of his other daughter's husband. Or his own brother's, for that matter).
Of course Lucky was accepting. He’s been MIA for this kids entire life so much that the kid aged to the point he looks like his brother and not his son 😂

Awesome scene!! Made me tear up!! So glad Lucky’s back where he belongs !!🥰
I like that he gathered his thoughts before speaking. It was important to say it right.
I knew Lucky would be accepting of Aiden since he was supportive of his cousin Lucas ☺️
Both whom were named after Lucus Lorenzo Spencer Sr.
I love this scene between lucky and Aidan. That hug was long overdue. I'm glad that they didn't make Aidan resent lucky.
This!!!
You mean, despite the fact that Aiden has every conceivable reason and right to hate him?
First of all- Jonathan is perfection!
Second: Lucky is such an amazing example of how fathers should show up for their children. Listening, affirming, asking if they’re ok with being hugged ❤️ absolutely beautiful
Great
A parent shouldn't have to ask their own child if they are "okay" with being hugged. That's like the most natural thing in the World.

He’s been channeling AG as lucky since taking on the role of lucky in 93. I remember as a kid thinking they were related
Also, what is so great about his performance is that he showed in a subtle way how we all become like our parents in many ways - like it or not.
