Here are the online training courses I recommend: “Teach Your Horse to Stop Light & Collected”: online.horsetrainingvideos.com/performance-training-package/ OR GET “Horse Training Secrets for Big Stops”: online.horsetrainingvideos.com/big-stops/
You asked a good question... Yes, I would. A good hindquarter stop in any class is almost mandatory if you want to win anything. Of course, in the cutting the horse will have a slightly different stop but he'll still be using his hocks to stop.
Can u review horses teeth as they older ie yearling teeth vs 2, 3 yo teeth. Wolf teeth? When I was shadowing my vet Dr John Metcalf 50 yrs ago we took off the " tips and caps" with just a hoof rasp. Put a twitch on and pulled the tongue aside. Now vet uses a really scary contraption to do it. Is this done so that the bit sits properly or pain or tossing head?
Sorry no. There is plenty of good information on the internet. I will say this though... the rasping method of floating teeth is not sufficient enough. The molars in the far rear will never get treated effectively. Those teeth are backed up against the rear of the mouth which restricts the rasp from working properly. The newer tools with a rotary grinder and protective guard do a much better job IFTHE DENTIST KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.
I should have added, I would want a professional equine dentist. Most vets that I've seen aren't knowledgeable enough to work on a horse's teeth properly they usually don't have the right tools either.

Thanks, Larry. Timing is so important.
You are welcome
Thanks!
Would you use this same type of stop for a ranch horse that would be doing herd work or other cow classes?

How do we know if the saddle is designed correctly?
Like I said in the video, I describe the saddle and fit in a video on my youtube channel
