Dedicate this one to my southern brother, Jay Landry, and of course being from New Orleans, his nickname up here in Milwaukee, in the frozen tundra, had to be "Gator" and that's what we call him... a born n raised proud man of the Southland, with four hundred years of family heritage in New Orleans, and he is also a fellow Union Blacksmith, up here in Milwaukee at the Ladish company. He works in the main forge shop on the north hammer line. He puts in an honest days work for an honest day's pay, he's not a drunk or a druggie, and he has been a very good friend and brother to me this year, as I've had some serious medical issues come up, and he has always kept me updated with what was going on at the plant, and he also kept the Union brothers at work appraised of my situation... And he is also that rare individual that you can trust with a confidence, and know that it will not make the rounds at work as the usual gossip, so that is always appreciated Brother. So I raise a shot glass full of Southern Comfort, and send out a toast to my Union Brother, thank you for being a good friend, Gator, you are a good man. Except for the bumper sticker on the back of your truck that says North 1 South 0....... halftime! LOL! Nah, he doesn't really... But I know damn well if I found one, he'd sure put it on there!
