It made it easier to go from 14” of Curly hair, to a One Inch on top, and a quarter inch on the Side! It’s time for me to decide to grow it all back out or keep it Short! That haircut today is by far the best for James. Loved the side by side comparison at the end. Personally I am not a fan of the high skin fade but that's just personal preference and in no shape or form takes away from the awesome job Dan did. You look great, James!

Until I started watching this channel, I never cared for a high skin fade. Having said that, I haven't seen Dan do one I didn't like. This cut is perfect for James and I believe it all comes down to knowing what will, or won't look good on someone. Dan draws on all his experience to create the best possible cut. You can tell that James has confidence in Dan. Great results and I giggled when Dan said, " go to your happy place " 😅 👏

I’m wondering if the wispy ends/finer texture is something that comes along with the hair-loss & recession? I know as a “senior” female i was lucky to always have pretty thick, medium texture hair but in the last year I’ve been having way more shedding than I ever have and not only is my hair much thinner but the texture seems finer too. Not a fan 🤣
I’m a hairdresser for 26 yrs now, I love watching the different techniques of other stylists/barbers, I’m very intrigued at how you use your trimmers backwards to do the 0 fade. I’ve never seen anyone do that but the cut is so much closer.

A great improvement. Again, it's the communication between you and your client. The only thing I'd like to see on your channel is a photo of your clients about two weeks after the cut. I know my haircuts take about two weeks to really look good.

Great change! I liked the first new haircut as well, but it didn't grow out super well and was looking quite wispy. Also, I'm glad James told you so many true and wonderful things about your channel and your work here, you deserve it.
