CDL Pre Trip Video 2023

Edit* This is specifically meant to be a study guide for the CDL pre-trip test for Class-B with Passenger Endorsement for the state of WA on a 30-foot Gillig. We use this video to teach our trainees how to pass the CDL test. It is not an example of the pre-trip our Coach Operators do before leaving on their daily runs, which is why items like "Wheelchair Securements" are not mentioned. Those are not a required item to check during actual CDL testing.

Disclaimer: This is for the WASHINGTON STATE CDL test, Class B, Passenger, w/Airbrakes. This may not work in your state w/your specific tester, or agency. For us in Wenatchee WA, at Link Transit, we have had a 100% pass rate for the pre-trip portion of the CDL test because this is how we teach our students to do it going on 5 years. Sure it might now work for other states or areas, but we have had many different testers, and it has worked for us perfectly. If you are instructed to do something different by your agency or instructor, please follow their instructions. What we do might not work for you, like-wise, what works for you or your agency most likely won't work for us.

What about the wheel chair seats ? Pull them up show the seat belts to hold the wheelchair we have to do that

Everybody in our classes has passed. So it works for us and our testers. In Washington state this works, in other states it may not. But we have a 100% pass rate.
