Trap Lore Ross and DJ Vlad delved into the tumultuous lives of certain Chicago rappers associated with the 600 gang, exploring the irony of promising futures curtailed by street violence and crime. Ross is mentioning the most important reason behind the killings that keeps getting ignored. Much of this is personal. There were plenty of straight A students and smart kids like HK, JustBlow, TB, Nuski and others that mainly got involved after losing a loved one. Even the 600 members admit they were never a gang prior, they were regular kids that were known for being good basketball players until the war started.
Even Von was said to be a bright straight-A student. We can break these things down all day but it's inevitably going to come down to socioeconomic poverty for people in places that the government ignores outright to feed the criminal justice system. George Carlin called it ages ago when he said we have a War on Drugs, War on this, War on that but no War on Poverty because there's no money in helping people who need dignifying economic opportunities.
Right, the way he described all the situations and outcomes was how its supposed to be told.

600 breezy problem wasn't Drake tbh... it was because his flow at the time he came up wasn't what was poppin. It had a more 2000s style which at the time of him blowing up it was more mubble druggy flow that mid 2010s era. He had the look and street ties but the music just wasn't it for that era.
Breezy was like top 2 or 3 out of Chicago in 2012-2014. I think that 2 year term he did right when he started to buzz screwed up his career.
