The lyrics for 'What If' were a bit off in the video. Particularly the verse: "How you doin', bro? Seems like you're living your best life these days, dressed up so nicely I wonder what hardships and ordeals mean to you Since you only walked up intact stairs Maybe you have no idea about such things You have everything now Money, glory, fortune, even followed by people you like Can you still tell [people/ yourself] to love [yourself/onself] and have hope If it means all of those things will be taken from you And you'll be at the bottom? (I wish) Hold up" Hoseok mentioned that the meaning behind the song is him questioning whether or not it's his place to tell people to just "have hope" since he comes from a place of privilege and can't relate to the struggles of people who don't have fame, money and everything he wants. You really have to commend his self-awareness and introspection. Also, the breathing in Music Box: Reflection is him inside the box!
Jack In The Box is groundbreaking for a kpop artist. It's raw and masterful at the same time. He took the risk and step out of that pop/idol box and bare himself in the public at the heights of their career. I always knew this is his type of music from the moment I stan BTS. Ever since BTS changed their genre from Khiphop to Kpop, I wanted Hoseok to go back to his roots one day. And he finally did that with JITB. It was a dream come true for me, he finally gave the world a chance to see the man behind his stage name "j-hope". The album is literally a Masterpiece. Each and every song give a poetic justice on how talented and how beautiful this man truly is.
Finally the raw emotions through all his album with lots of beautiful vocals, incredible rap and impossibly cool lyrics. I won't even start talking about the music style and his unbelievable flaw)) Such a great album! Number 1 for me. Great reaction))
Thank you for the reaction/album listen Caitlyn. Upon listening to the album myself, yes it's a depiction of his inner thoughts, doubts and vulnerabilities. I love that Hobi is showing us this side of himself; It's always been there, it's just many have overlooked it and were more attentive to his sunny, bubbly and happy side. He's a multi-faceted human just like the rest of us. Overall, this album feels like a confession in a sense. *Also, the vocals in Safety Zone are done by Jaicko Lawrence. He's a multi-platinum singer/song-writer and producer. We've been trying to figure out who he was since the album came out lol 💜*
Hobi wrote future for himself to comfort him, he wanted a real kids choir on that and got one. I highly recommend reacting to Hobis ''What inside the Box'' Vlive it's so cool he prepared so much for us and he really opens up about some things.

J HOPE 💜💜💜💜😊😊😊
Hobi became one of my bias after this album.. for me this sentence speaks volume about Jack in the box as an album.

Its unfair that some of the best songs and albums are so short 😭 but i love this album so much.Thank you for this reaction💜
