Gordon, really have enjoy watching all your videos for the last several weeks while our weather here is terrible. I have logged 60+ k's on my KLR and have had great times by myself and some scary times that I'm lucky to get myself out of a situation. But there is one thing that really bothers me and I need to say it. The 3 elements you talked about are some encouraging words and I agree with them. Uncertainty is the routine of wearing those Man Nikes out in the wilderness. The uneasiness, is that rut can go bad and then the uncomfortableness will be laying there hoping someone comes along with a broken foot. I hope you take the advice and start wearing those boots you talked about in a previous video. I have myself laid on the ground with my foot pinned under the bike and wait about 30 min for my friends to come looking for me. Boots saved me a injury. I hope my words are not taken as a bashing. I just pray that you see my words as encouraging as I find yours Sir. Ride safe and God Bless
Thought the same, great advice. My foot slipped off hyway peg at 70 mph and hit the road toe first.. Without lace up boots I'm sure I'd had serious injury. Maybe more concerning off road.
Yeah, unless you’re a fireman go in the opposite way of the smoke ha ha. I hope that in a big old forest fire. I’m sure you would’ve seen that though. Stay safe and enjoy
I love your faith.....and the video was pretty darn good too!! You Sir, have a new subscriber!!
Those Pisgah Map Co. Maps the old man had are the gold standard in maps. I love them
Love my KLR. Mostly explores the Rockies and the West, but it’s nice to know there’s places for KLRs in the east, too. Thanks for the ride-along.

Not at all. I appreciate the advice!
Thank you for your faith in God for your safety. Enjoyed the video and look forward to doing the SCAR
Great video. Your faith in our God makes my soul smile!!
I can't wait to ride the SCAR
Carry an old fashion map. Can’t depend on the electronics all the time. That’s a good lesson learned for me too.
Nice guy helping you out.
I’ve been down that road several times.

What video camera do you use?
Let me know when we can get together and ride.
