I'm sure he worked many years to figure these things out. I especially agree about loops. As producers our ego will tell us that we should truly do everything from scratch but a great song with loops will beat an average song from scratch every time.
As producers, we produce a product to be consumed by other people. Avoiding loops is like trying to bake, while processing your sugar and flower from scratch, haha. It’s certainly possible to do that but most people never find out what goes into the process. They just want the cookies to taste good ☺️
