I was hoping Emilie's personality would be calm and introverted like this. From the scraps we heard I would have guessed she'd be more like Chiori, if Chiori didn't already exist. I was hoping to completely skip all of Fontaine on my main account, but she's irresistible in every way, I will triple crown her. I really had no idea the medium female character model could look this good.

Neuvillette actually hosted a water tasting event to which Emilie was invited, and she seems to admire him. Her voiceline "about Neuvillette" has some more details. I agree, they seem to have a great affinity, and I wish they could interact in-game.

Quite odd that she doesn’t have a Character Teaser of her own- even if the reasoning was because of her appearing as a special guest in the Imaginarium Theater, it would make more sense for HoYo to release the Teaser much earlier, and then releasing the Demo right before the theater.
note: Here’s the usual schedule. 5 star Character Teasers release around 5-6 days before their banner, and around a day before they release. So Emilie having a Character Demo first and early is odd, at least for Genshin Impact.

It's nice to see people like emilie more on UA-cam than TikTok. Honestly i think everyone over there was being too harsh. The Design is pretty and you can't expect every character to have flashy attacks and one up all the previous characters. Like just chill and focus on the positives instead of complaining that her concept designs were better (keyword:concepts. You're not entitled to a design just because you like it)

I think people are harsh because she is the last unit of 4.X, which all had beautiful designs (for five stars), and right before the newest region, full of more visually interesting characters.
Emilie's color scheme is self-contradictory (her hair color washes her out, and the lovely emerald green battles with the black) and the details of her ensemble pulls your attention all over the place.

The fact that shes a forensic cleaner who sells perfumes makes me think she's based on undertakers or plauge doctors.
Design: she wears a lot of black and her hat has a veil as if shes going to a funeral.
Polearm: plauge doctors used staffs to examine patients without touching them. Emilie could do something similar but for crime scenes instead of treating patients.
Perfume: in europe it was believed that diseases were caused by miasma which is bad smells. Thus plauge doctors had perfumes in the beaks of their masks.
Additionally perfumes were used in funerals. In ancient greece mint was used during funerals.

Usually that's the teaser. Not the demo. For some reason hoyo did it backwards. Teasers are supposed to be around Wednesday morning at midnight then demo around Saturday or Sunday.
