Apologies for my ignorance, but what is compositions and musical interpretation differs a lot, between the English and Latin sentiment, the Anglo-Saxons value more the screams on stage than the interpretation and meaning of the lyrics of the compositions. The Latino speaks with his singing and opens the heart, the English only with screams think they reach the human heart. And this has been done for decades, it's not just now...

She came in with a bad attitude and a sob-story and she sang that Whitney Houston song like any other karaoke singer, but before she spoke about some twist it never had. If that's what is talent, then everybody who sings this song in the shower has the same talent.
